I rarely set goals. But I'm deeply invested in... Calisthenics and streetlifting. I really want to get strong. This year, I'm aiming for... +100 kg dip and +70 kg pull-up. I'm not sure if it's doable. But, I'm going for it anyway. The journey is what truly matters.

I'm now officially a... Bachelor of Design ❌ Bachelor of Calisthenics ✅ Joke asides... Calisthenics literally carried my journey in uni. I even made it the main topic of my thesis. I might post about it later. (Of course, I had to do some muscle-ups)

God, I missed weights... Weighted calisthenics, of course. Had my first weighted pull-up session in a month. Unlocked a new PR: +12.5 kg since the last 1RM session. Ooooh... It feels sooooooo good... Weighted dips tomorrow!

Don’t try to fit in! It’s exhausting and makes you feel like nobody. I’ve been there, and it’s not recommended. The root cause of it is not knowing myself well enough. Looking for it by outsourcing, Whereas, it’s all within, deep down inside.

Don’t get caught up in fancy tips or hacks. There's an overwhelming amount of information out there. Much of it is just noise, bullsh*t and misleading. Use your brain, don’t accept everything blindly. The most powerful advice is often the simplest.

Had to remind myself: Don’t lose sight of the basics. Don’t get caught up in the details. Sometimes, a break is really needed. Zoom out and see the bigger picture. Clear your mind, and reflect on what truly matters. Refocus your energy, and come back stronger.

We often underestimate our true power. So let go of self-imposed limitations. Ditch those limiting beliefs. In Sundanese, we say: ‘Gaskeun heula we!’ which means ‘Just do it now!’ Start, keep going, and see how it turns out. You might surprise yourself.

Harsh truth: Be 1% better every day is impossible. Why? Progress isn't always linear. There will always be a bad day. When you feel off, stuck, or even regress. Don't let that discourage you. Keep pushing forward. You'll overcome these obstacles.

I’ll say it again and again, Keep going! It’s the cornerstone of success. But, it's not enough on its own. Mindlessly 'keep going' won't cut it. We have to keep going to get better. And for that, we have to open our eyes. Paying attention to what works and what doesn't.

You don't need the gym to get jacked. Why do people go to the gym? To build muscles by lifting weights. But, you know what? You can lift your own body 'weight.' Actually, it provides enough weight, Especially if you're a beginner. That's the beauty of calisthenics.

Yesterday was a bad day. Stayed up late, woke up early, Immediately grabbed my phone. An unexpected issue threw me off track, Sinking into a hole of procrastination. Took me a while to snap out of it. But I'll take it as a W. In the past, days like these lasted longer.

Sleeping less does not equal achieving more. Sure, it might feel like you can get more things done, But is that really the case, or just a perception? And even if it is true, is it sustainable in the long run? There's often a high price to pay for sacrificing sleep.
