Two of Metroline's new Volvo BZLs seen parked at Hants and Dorset Trim in Eastleigh. The reg of these aren't yet known but fleet numbers are VMS2822/2830 - I believe this is the second sighting of this batch, assumedly for the 316 out of Willesden Jct depot.

Just been to view an ex Stagecoach Dart that had been sat for years with the idea of saving it for preservation in mind. Unfortunately it's years had caught up with it and it was sunken into the ground, mouldy and v. rotten. So sad to see such a rare bus like this.

321 but make it ✨️BIGGER✨️! Today, Arriva Luton trialled three deckers on the 321, a much needed change indeed - they were all still practically rammed full! I managed to catch all three.. although one broke down and another had a vomit incident. Average day in Luton? 🥱

It's my 15th birthday today, and to be honest I'm massively proud of what I've done and acheieved over the past year, I can argue it was one of, if not the, best year/s of my relatively short life, meeting many new people on & off here and achieving my dream of buying a bus!

I accompanied a few friends at Chiltern Bus Company today in collecting Volvo B9TL S90 CBC from repaint, and with that came a photoshoot in the countryside that surrounds Wycombe! Three point belts, leather seats, this beast has it all - and being VERY green, you won't miss it!

Central Connect Enviro200MMCs 349 / SK73 COU and 363 / YY24 HBG. The latter has only three days' service under it's belt, and is part of a supposedly large order. Of note is that these have been specced with an air-con unit, which is not the case on their 73 plate Enviros.

Today marks a week until the closure of Arriva's High Wycombe and Aylesbury depots. With that in mind, a few hours was spent lingering about both areas, Wycombe especially - with the hilly scenery making for some half decent photos of both fleets, composed primarily of Citaros!

NXWM 4125/Y716 TOH, the final pre September 2001 bus in their service fleet. This Trident wears the Travel West Midlands livery as it did when new, and for me it is without a doubt the best looking service vehicle in the West Midlands.

Chiltern Bus Company's latest purchase, Scania K230UB Omnilink CX64 EMS is seen throughout Saturday on Chiltern Rail Replacement duties. This is the final Omnilink produced, and with a 9.3L engine paired with a 6 speed Ecomat gearbox, it certainly has no shortage of power!

Leighton's Buses Leighton Buzzard had a major overhaul in their services yesterday, with 5 nearly new ADL Enviro200MMCs drafted in from Kent. Pictured around LB is 3153/4/5/7 (with the routes having a PVR of 4, 3156 wasn't needed this evening). I hope to further explore soon!

Uno 304/BX56 VSM has returned! After 5 years off the road, Citaro 304 has returned to service.. in white and with Alcoa wheels? It is safe to say I wasn't expecting to see this when heading to Hatfield this morning, especially when I heard it was to be sold!

After around a year of Abellio operating the 111, the new Wright Electroliners are finally arriving to oust the New Routemasters. 3018 (LV72 BZM) wasn't tracking and came out of nowhere at Heathrow Airport!

First Glasgow have a very tidy, uniformed fleet of mainly newer buses, many of which carry route branding (but none are actually seen on the route they're branded for 😅). In recent years, the city has seen plenty of investment, hence the flocks of ADL tat.

Seen on a nondescript industrial estate/farm in Poyle near Slough is airport spec ADL Enviro200 GV63 HWX. Having been out of MOT since 2021, one can only assume that it has spent 2+ years laid up, and a quick search on Google shows no records of it in service.

One of the best looking buses locally, Sullivan Buses WVL2, is seen on it's usual route, the 84. The livery is a modern take on NBC's old livery, and shows how simple is superior!

An absolutely fantastic day was has today out with @ShiresBusVeg , @RailwayIrish and the South Bucks Bus Group on their stunning Leyland in and around Berks and Bucks. The Olympian looks 100x better than near enough all service buses following it's repaint - & sounds better too!!

Briefly returning to Hertfordshire this afternoon was A2B's big pink Scania N94UD Omnidekka UH55 UNO - a stunning motor indeed! Covering a relief trip on their recently taken over Sunday 331 service, it is seen around Buntingford.. still adorned with Uno's branding!

Stagecoach Oxfordshire's 50446 (YX21 NNH), a Volvo B11RLE Plaxton Panorama, with an OxfordTube service to London Victoria. This is one of the ten-strong batch of coaches originally intended for Oxfordshire, however diverted to Scottish Citylink for their 6Cities services.

In a shock exchange of buses between Arriva Herts & Essex and Arriva Derby, Harlow have gained Scania N230UB OmniCity 3566 (YR58 SRY), in exchange for ADL Enviro200 MMC 4086 (YX17 NHD). In my opinion, we've got the better bus here; I just hope it stays, which I doubt.

Easily the best looking TfL KCIII Coronation bus is Abellio Wright Electroliner 3006/LV72 BYZ. Coincidentally, this was my first shot of a Hydroliner on the 111, and with TfL not tracking on Bustimes, certainly a welcome surprise!

The livery choice doesn't feel particularly unique, but this and it's sisters are the first deckers for Slough in a massive while, so it freshens up the bus scene a bit - nothing will top the days of €3 Citaros though.. First 34380 (SO68 HGA) on it's first day with Berks.

One of the many weird and wacky types of buses is the Volvo B9TL / ADL Enviro400 combo. Only three were made, this example - VE3/LX58 CWM - being the third, all new to Go Ahead London. All were paired with Voith gearboxes. VE3 is seen with a 57 to Kingston, however no blinds.. 😅

Red Rose's first day of operation on the 328 brings 4 ex Central Connect ADL Enviro200MMCs, the newest; YX72 ONA, seen here in Abbotts Langley. They were supposed to have been loaned 5 but one has already been sent back due to diff issues, testament ADL's build quality.. 🤭

Today held a few treats for LDP130, all non-TfL stickers removed and display reprogrammed, drivers' seatbelt removed - was unescessary and just tied to the seat - and a replacement drivers seat (photos of part way through process). Hopefully this month holds new batteries also.

My first time seeing a branded up Beeline E400MMC and already some dodgy repairs/paint near the reg! Only in Slough 🥲 Anyhow, First ADL Enviro400MMC 34375/SO68 HFV is seen in Langley with a 7 to Heathrow Airport, 1 of 2 services that First Slough operate to the travel hotspot.

Better late than never! Arriva Kent's 6155 (UUI 2952), a Volvo B7TL / Wright Gemini 1 is seen in Bluewater and Gravesend respectively working the 490 on it's first day out post-repaint. It's sad that we don't have more Arriva buses in the Jubilee livery down south.

Arriva really seem to be upping their game down in Kent, especially with regards to fleet care and heritage liveries - a prime example of this being TW's 1518 (YJ11 OHK), which is seen in Rusthall and TW Town Centre. Made for a nice journey, aside from the little shits vaping..

A few hours out on Tuesday resulted in a couple of interesting catches, one which being Citaro 301/BX56 VSJ on the 635, with it performing remarkably for it's age. Also had a brief run on Stagecoach's recently extended 9B, and one of Arriva Herts & Essex' final Darts, 1610.

It's not a proper holiday without some spare time bashing; I found myself with a few hours to spare earlier today so thought I'd get a surprisingly cheap Stagecoach North Devon Dayrider (£3.90!) and see what the Solos etc of Barnstaple had to offer. Impeccable buses, clean too!

Some more on the third of Redline's batch of 4 brand new B8RLE / Evoras, BV73 MTJ, seen in Oxford. The only of the four I hadn't photographed whilst in dealer stock white, myself and @ShiresBusVeg were lucky (if it can be described as such) to have this as our X20 on Sunday.

Arriva Aylesbury's latest transfer, 4759 (FJ06 ZSE), a VDL/DAF DB250 / Wright Gemini, is seen on the 150 to Milton Keynes. It was a shock transfer from Thurmaston (Leics) depot and entered service yesterday, after a 9-month DB250 hiatus at Aylesbury!

Farley Hill is a jarring place, one of which I will envisage to avoid in the future - it feels dystopian - however, there are some half decent photo spots there, such as below, just off South Drift Way. Arriva Luton's resident patchwork Dart, 2211, is pictured there.

In the past few days, I haven't gone ten minutes without absolutely glowing about Sanders (for good reason!) - their investment and care for their fleet is simply unparalleled, their routes are amazing, and staff always friendly. So sad to have to go home to such crap operators..

With a drastic increase of PVR partially starting this week and partially starting next, Carousel have had 4 unusual ZF-boxed ADL E200s cascaded in from Plymouth / Cornwall. The first two to enter service are 531/YY64 GXJ and 534/YY64 GXJ, pictured in Wycombe and Milton Common.

Pictured just now in North Sheen is Abellio 1710/LV73 FHG, a Wright GB Kite Electroliner and the same operator's 8847/YX16 NZV, an ADL Enviro200MMC. This marks the first time I've seen a Wright with that front in the skin - and it's blooming appalling! 😂

One of my favourite depot photos is of Centrebus' majestic 702 standing in their Luton depot in the sun. Now sadly withdrawn, I doubt this bus will grace the streets of Bedfordshire again, unless on a recovery truck. 🥲 Only three of the 7 buses in this photo remain with Luton.
