Boarding a matatu in the morning...the price is hiked from 100 to 150 bob. Asking the conductor why the increase was so steep he gives me that tout look and tells me... "Kama hujiskii na hii, enda ukapande wheelbarrow." I did not see that coming!

When a pastor keeps telling the congregation "Greet your neighbor", "Tell your neighbor something", "Give your neighbor a high five" they make the introverts in the congregation very uncomfortable.

As soon as my mother began school, she was withdrawn. Why? She was a girl. Her education was sacrificed for other priorities. But when it was her turn to parent, what was sacrificed she gave us sacrificially. Would have loved her to see this day – but she lives in another time.

It is clear that what the young generation is asking for is NOT education on the Finance Bill. What they're SEEKING is a COUNTRY OF INTEGRITY and OPPORTUNITY. The Finance Bill is now a symbol of oppression. A culture of CORRUPTION is REJECTED, not AMENDED. #RejectFinanceBill2024

The rains may wet Kenya’s earth, but the country’s true drought continues. The country’s real drought is a moral drought. Sadly, morality does not fall from the clouds. We're wet yet remain dusty, rained on yet still steaming hot. A moral drought vaporizes even the heaviest rain.

You cannot CELEBRATE young ATHLETES and then DEMONIZE young DEMOCRATS! They take different lanes to exhibit PATRIOTISM - one on the TRACK the other in the STREET. They are both seeking to restore their country's GLORY. To HAIL the trackstars and JAIL the streetstars is SINFUL.

Women were the first ones entrusted to deliver the world-changing words "He is risen!" Terrified though they were, they did! If God trusted them with this critical truth, why then restrict them in God's service on account of their femalehood? Women are frontliners. Full stop.

One mark of spiritual intelligence is ability to discern what part of a task is man's and what is God's. Many mix this up and get into the mess of crying to God to do what can only be their duty. All things require Divine presence but not all things require Divine intervention.

God is being dragged a lot into political speeches. No aspirant should pose as having a head start & assume they’ve already bagged God’s vote! The Biblical God is known to do curve balls -appearing where He was thought not to be...and shifting from where He once was known to be!

YOUNG people, do not be afraid when OLDER people are JEALOUS of your revolutionary spirit - jealousy is part of what needs to be BROUGHT DOWN. Do not be discouraged when some you started out with are STOLEN with STOLEN money. They were NEVER meant to be part of the movement!

Just God, infill the hearts of our judges with love for this country. Give them a disgust for manipulation. Uproot them from piki piki ponki. Steer them to a divine revelation. May your hand drive their pen. Let Monday's sun set with Kenya basking in the beauty of Truth. Amen.

Three red flags I frequently pick up at pre-marital counselling: a. identity crisis: individuals having insufficient self-knowledge b. moral fluidity: porous filters of right and wrong c. marriage illiteracy: expecting from marriage what marriage can never give. #lovelines

The choice of a woman as deputy president goes beyond tribal politics. It is a new chapter in Kenya's history. It's a vote of confidence in women - ALL women. To trivialize Martha's nomination to votes she can bring from Mt. Kenya is to be in the dark and miss the whole point.
