After an extensive assessment of EBRPSS school facilities, and round the clock work from our facilities and technology teams EBRPSS will be able to safely welcome back all staff on Tuesday September 7, 2021 and students on Wednesday September 8, 2021.
Due to the threat of severe weather, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System will be closing all schools and offices on Thursday, April 18, 2019. All after school activities on Thursday will be cancelled or postponed. School will resume after spring break on Monday, April 29.

Today at the Goodwood Library, Superintendent Sito Narcisse, his team, and the Mayor’s office presented the EBR Literacy Blueprint. It will focus on improving the literacy rate among students.
Due to the continued impact of winter weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution, all East Baton Rouge Parish public schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Normal operations will resume on Friday, January 19, 2018.
