Gawler straight's length is roughly 340m which is around twice that of Moonee Valley. Gawler played very well yesterday & all horses got their chance.

@ItsMattsy And they’re offering tighter odds because the prize money has dropped in SA because the State Liberal Government cut the assistance we put in place for racing ($3M in prize money/year). Therefore less trainers competing. None of this would’ve happened if that hadn’t been cut.

Interesting reading Morph stew/rep re Borris in Ossory. My opinion Sophie Logan rode the horse well, sectionals look ok & she also complied with instructions. Horse has been successful with similar rides previously. Why the requirement to be held back to body of field?
