After 32 years of marriage, a man sold their house without knowledge of the wife. He gave her less than five days notice to move out. His notice elapsed on Friday. He has packed his things and left. The woman is still in shock and doesn’t know what to do.

He was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for each of the counts. They will run concurrently. 4 years will be deducted to account for time he spent incarcerated, awaiting trial. Thank You to ALL who supported us in the

case. No to SGBV against children.
Tears of joy more often. Thank you
@OSIWA1
for supporting us to give emergency shelter to some SGBV survivors. Grandmother, mother(a minor) and baby are SAFE. It will be a long night but we are sure everyone will be safe. Thank you.
On Sunday morning, another Nigerian child gave birth to a child. The plight of children exposed to sexual activity by adults in NIGERIA still begs for real time interventions in support of children to enjoy their childhoods and the adults punished for their crimes.
Ali Maria Onyeche has been confirmed dead allegedly from domestic violence by Benedict Bouj Ngwoke. He is currently being detained in Karu police station. We are following up on it. We strongly condemn intimate partner violence

NIGERIANS being violated with corrective rapes, stop keeping quiet. Especially those organized by families. Report them to Dorothy Njemanze Foundation. We understand your fears.
A "man of God" testified in court today in a rape case! This is what we hope those that keep trying to settle rape cases by exploiting reverence, will do! If we collectively hold perpetrators accountable, we will INDEED be doing THE LORD'S WORK!

Benedict Bouj Ngwoke is currently in detention in Karu police station following the death of Maria Ali after alleged domestic violence. That's another needless death. Feeling entitled to harm an intimate partner is a crime known to law with defined penalty.

12. The FCT Sexual and gender based violence response team (SGBVRT) needs to consciously provide support for victims of these violations. Support shouldn't be morality policing as currently exists. Access to justice is very expensive. Footing bills for this is good support.
Reality of Children sexually abused by adults.
NIGERIA is not supporting these children real time.
They are struggling to get basics to survive pregnancies, remind law enforcement they deserve justice and cope with increased threats to their families and mental health crises.
This increase further exposed first responders to Sexual and Gender Based Violence to different levels of abuse, fatigue, and violence.

Studies show that countries with higher women's participation in decision-making tend to have more effective policies, better governance, and improved economic outcomes. It's time for Nigeria to tap into this potential.
The time for deliberate investment in responding to sexual and gender based violence including free medical services and legal services and others, is now! That's the way we can fight the impunity that endangers women in Abuja.
