@ParadoxicalMike I think the bigger issue is most ( not all ) gay men don’t respect boundaries causing some men to be discreet or “ DL”. As some who deals with both male and female open I’ve never had to worry about a female reaching out to my family to involve them in my intimate relationships.

@ParadoxicalMike Now as for men specifically openly gay men , I’ve had numerous situations where lines were crossed as far as nudes being sent to family members or being “ outed”. As much as it’s wrong to be “ dl” I think the toxic culture of outing people in the community is a reason men are DL

@ParadoxicalMike So there’s 2 sides to this statement yes at a certain age you shouldn’t care what people think. But on the other hand the lack of boundaries and emphasis on sexuality in the gay community is weird. A hetero doesn’t say hey mom I’m straight but a man has to say hey I’m gay mom?
