My response to German critics who want to divert the debate to the question of the Holocaust's singularity whereas I think the central question is the state instrumentalization of memory. (I didn't choose the accompanying image btw.)

In the @tazgezwitscher today, @JanFeddersen claims I use the term "Schuldkult," which I never have. Upon informing him of this when he first alleged it 2021, he wrote to apologize on 15 July: "ich bitte um entschuldigung, das war misslich und fälschlich." So why repeat it now?

The people who cancelled Nancy Fraser would not even know who and what she’s talking about in her explanation of the non-Jewish Jewish tradition she discusses with @hahauenstein

As Nancy Fraser spoke to me about her recent cancellation at the University of Cologne, she explained why she considers Germany's unconditional allegiance to Israel to be a betrayal. And why she’s far from repentant about signing open letters in solidarity with Palestine.
