The choice of a colder tone for Dean's present storyline in The Winchesters has to be deliberate. It seems EVEN LESS LIKELY that he'd be in heaven, NOT WITH THOSE COLD COLORS. Not Jack and Castiel's heaven, at least.

The cold color might also indicate Dean's emotions. Heaven has a warm filter, there's peace (& the ones he loves). If he's back on earth alone, it makes sense that it's cold. Also it's different from the amber filter jensen chose for the storyline of M & J. It marks a difference.

Also, I've noticed THIS. So if Dean has the samulet it is possible that this is set either before S5 (before he throws it away - but it can't be cause he wore it) or between S10 & 11 (he gets a replica of it in the musical episode and hangs it from Baby's mirror)

Also the car and the road go in opposite directions in those two shots. The car is also on the other side of the driveway. It's like they're opposing. If the road in heaven is going forward to the right, here it goes towards the left. Is it undoing it? Turning back?
