I'm envious of the lady who left her 7 weeks old to attend Adekunle's show I remember having to fight the wifey to leave the baby at home and follow me to a party! We had not even gotten to IKOYI when madam said "please turn back, I am seeing my baby's face on every billboard

Today, I join all my @myaccessbank warriors, young and old, in Nigeria and oversees, to mourn the passing of one of the greatest of men, @HerbertOWigwe This is personal on a level many will not understand. We were blank slates, and these men wrote our starting stories.

My life story is rich. I lived the poor but charmed village life of my grannies and our family. I went to the farms with them. I tilled the lands with hoes. I fetched water from the streams and walked a mile with bowl on my head. I danced to the drums round the market square.

While in Houston, was having a convo with some Nigerian friends who swore to never live in 9ja, despite my arguments of being able to create your own palace if there is money. I was asked: if you have an accident in your 2018 Bentley on 3MB, who will rescue you? *Crickets*

There is a lag of 6 to 12 months for valuations in the private market to catch up to realities of the publics. Valuations for high beta public tech firms are down ~40-60% on average. The pain will spread backwards towards Series A. Winter is here but most don't know it yet.

When I am done climbing this entrepreneurship mountain, my next ambition is in the humanities: literature and anthropology in that regards I want to be a student of cultures, poetry and prose. I want my head to be filled with Rumi and Salvador Dali.
