Non-league clubs aren't sustainable without crowds, and the restrictions have decimated the finances of many community clubs.

This brings home the reality and pain of war and the palpable horror involved.
My heart goes out to
@Yollika
and her family.
In this day of 24 hour news and social media, it's easy to become a spectator and removed from the reality and destruction involved.
Robert Peston:
"When do you think there'll be no tiers or restrictions?"
Me:
"Probably about the time you finally get to the end of a fucking question."
@BBCSportScot
Just checking, but is this guy the CEO of a club that recently went into administration due to corrupt, debt-fuelled investment, and was also used as a vehicle in a multi-club structure?
They don't do irony down Tynecastle, do they. 🤣

@MoS_Politics
"CHERISED FREEDOMS" he cries, whilst entering an unelected House of Lords on the back of corruption and deceit.
If you didn’t laugh you'd cry.

There are many thousands of dead Palestinians as a result of the apartheid state of Israel and illegal occupation of Palestine.
I understand your embarrassment though, especially when a group of guys on gliders humiliate the supposed 'elite' Israeli intelligence services.
@OwenJones84
I rest my case, on the BBC newspaper review right now, they're talking about lifting the restrictions.
Not a single word about the most shocking article throughout this whole crisis.
Unbelievable!
@doctor_oxford
The amount of drinking that takes place at his 'work' might be the answer as to why the country is in such a state.
On that point, I'd be disciplined and likely sacked for drinking during working hours.
@OwenJones84
There is no feasible possibility that a government should survive such a damning assessment of their response to a crisis.
However, this is the UK - where support for the government has actually increased.
Every journalist at press conference tomorrow should be all over this!
The iconic and ornate roof and waiting room of Edinburgh Waverley Station.
Edinburgh Waverly sits in a prominent position between the Old and New Towns and was the flagship station for the North British Railway when it first opened.
@IanDunt
There should be mass resignations on the back of that.
Tomorrow should see every journalist hound the government press conference with questions on this.
Nothing will happen though.
Britain is fucked!
@Hairy_Laphroaig
@SamanthaTaghoy
Then goes on to mention that she was the only woman of colour to hold a position in the society.
She tweeted this on the 22nd August.
Her memory doesn't stretch beyond a fortnight it seems.

I'm aged 40, and have suffered with mental health problems all my life.
I repeatedly asked myself if having a child would risk my mental health even further.
Having now had a child, I continue to ask myself has this been for the best, or is this a mistake?
I feel very guilty.

WHAT THERE IS MONEY FOR:
£37bn on failed Test & Trace
£16bn on bombs & guns
£billions to pals for dodgy PPE etc
£200bn+ on Brexit
£7k a day for consultants
£370k to cover Priti Patel bullying
WHAT THERE ISN'T MONEY FOR:
A proper pay rise for NHS staff.
Aye, read the room.

Couldn't agree more. 1000+ deaths a day according to ONS figures and still our media have nothing put platitudes for the man, and the government, partly responsible for the mess we find ourselves in now.
@BBCScotNine
@jasonleitch
Yet it was unsafe for Hampden to host 600 fans only a week ago - despite figures being better then than they are now.
It's hard to take you seriously.
@Jeremy_Hunt
You've the backbone of a snake.
C'mon, let's hear your explanation for voting against the very proposal you were supposedly championing?
On the same bloody day too!
"Idea for a gameshow"

The winner gets shot and therefore avoids astronomical energy bill this winter."

I thought the tone was most unhelpful and doesn't paint the investigation, or the force, in a good light.
I understand frustration around 'armchair' detectives, but this conference will bring further criticism.
@helen_reinsure
@theAliceRoberts
You mentioned Dads as a whole, not a minority of them. There will be a minority of mothers equally guilty of the charge you mention.
Also, why look to sow division instead of reflecting upon the difficulties we all face?
A disappointing stance from a school governor.
@philliphodson
@toryboypierce
@BorisJohnson
"bail out their banks" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I take it you were in a coma when the British public had to rescue our own?
"Work harder" is another phrase for the UK now having become the sweatshop of Western Europe.
@MariaMacSNP
@ScotlandNT
I find it laughable that you're trying to portray this as a good news story.
Thousands left the area like an open sewer, whilst a handful decided it might be responsible to dispose of their rubbish appropriately.
Well done to the few, perhaps you could condemn the rest instead.
@GMB
Dubai, one of the most corrupt places on earth and a state (UAE) and economy built upon the virtual slavery of Asian and African workers.
Anyone involved in this playground of the rich is complicit in the whole scandal.

I think he was right on the Titanic part.
The UK is being piloted straight towards an iceberg by gross incompetence which will cause the death of many.
He's probably never been more right in that respect.

Leadership isn't agreeing to something you know is wrong. Leadership would have been her standing up to this frankly ridiculous decision. She's as culpable as Westminster for the cases/deaths that follow.

Figures in Glasgow worse than when you kept Glasgow in Level 3.
Figures worse than when you decided 600 couldn't attend the cup final, but now it's okay for 12,000 at Hampden and 6,000 a day at Glasgow Green.
You're taking the piss!
UEFA dictating public health policy.

Barry Davies is, quite simply the best.
How I miss those crackly commentaries from the far outposts of Europe and the World. It always added an aura of mystery, fear and excitement to the occasion too.

The chief medical officer has endangered lives, that is the long and the short of it.
Her position is untenable, and her actions will now encourage other idiots in our society to do the same.
Unforgivable.

ONS figures confirm the daily number of hospital deaths in England are under-reported by an average of 80%.
This would mean that today circa 1500 people died in the last 24 hours.
That's before we even start on deaths in the community.
So the figures certainly aren't better!
@chorleyfc
Stop taking people for fools.
HMRC issuing a winding-up order isn't an 'oversight' or 'clerical error' and you'll have had ample opportunity to address this prior to a winding-up petition being served.
Explain to us then, why have the league placed an embargo on the club?
@NicolaSturgeon
It's abundantly transparent you will ease restrictions in order that the Euro 2021 games take place with fans - despite the fact you've refused fans in any such numbers throughout the entire season.
Clear that UEFA and their payments now dictate health policy in Scotland.
@implausibleblog
Hopefully, the GMC will speak out about this further assault upon the competence of highly skilled professionals in favour of unqualified, profit-driven charlatans.
After breaking my ankle a fortnight ago whilst playing football, I finally managed a day out with my daughter today (wheelchair assisted).
The little rascal can never behave for a photo. 🤣

I'm not overly enthusiastic, to be honest.

Hopefully, the coming weeks bring better.

On the 28th April, during PMQs, he stated that he paid for the refurbishments 'personally'.
He misled the House.
Under the ministerial code he is now expected to resign isn't he?

It's a complete anachronism in a supposedly democratic 21st century society.
The utterly nonsensical belief in people being born into power and privilege is something I shall never understand.

Start fighting our corner Hibs instead of the obsequious "we are delighted" nonsense you mention.
This is a ludicrous decision, particularly given this no doubt means the continued closure of two stands.
Fir Park had almost the same attendance on Sunday!
@scotsunsport
Yet he's part of the Scottish Government still allowing games to go ahead with fans tomorrow.
Incompetent doesn't even begin to cover it.
@jasonleitch
Why are places of worship afforded a special exemption?
It's nonsense like this that greatly weaken your argument.
For clarity, I'm not a Covid-19 denier either.
The Finnieston is a disused giant cantilever crane in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland.
It is no longer operational, but is retained as a symbol of the city's engineering heritage. The crane was used for loading cargo, in particular steam locomotives, onto ships to be exported.
@msm_monitor
Correct, that we have been told via our local council are responsible for the UK wide distribution of PPE to the care sector.
I'm absolutely furious about this!

Welcome to broken Britain.
We know the train is fully booked, and there are no seats available, but we're going to endanger your safety (and other passengers) by continuing to sell tickets for this service (at a super-inflated price) because shareholder profit is king.
