@athenamount
The fact that she isn't in the top 30 while also being on a world tour is already showing that she really isn't the problem when it comes to climate. None of the other people are getting criticized, only Taylor💀
@scnsualpolitics
It's always like that. That random dude started shading Taylor, Taylor never actually said anything directly to him and only us swifties have said stuff about that guy AFTER he decided to be incredibly rude. They always shift the blame towards Taylor, it's crazy.
@crulsmmr
Those are the exact same people that called the Delicate music video cringe and that one has an actual compelling message. Billies fans are gagging over nothing like always💀
@AOTY2024
They basically listen to her music, because they genuinely enjoy it, but they want to be "not like other girls" so badly that they try and find lyrics to be mad about. All of her haters are just fans in disguise, because if you wouldn't like her you wouldn't listen to her music.
@tantaytay
Taylor Swift haters are always trying to be "not like other girls". It is totally fine not to like an artist, but making that your entire personality and constantly talking about it is weird. If you genuinely don't like something, you don't go out of your way to talk about it.
@athenamount
That's the only way for them to have something bad to say about her. Taylor has a clean history, but her haters just fabricate lies to try and put her in a bad light.
@athenamount
Also, god frobid a singer actually does their job. Like, it's not our fault they stan an artist who takes 4 years for one new album. And I hate the fact that haters include the rerecordings here, but discredit them whenever it comes to achievements, not accepting them as albums.
@TSstatistics
Why are Adele fans mad at Taylor anyway? Like, Adele is such a sweet and funny soul and she clearly adores Taylor a lot. Taylor also never said anything mean about Adele either, so this is once again just forced hatred against Taylor like most other fanbases.
@giftedswifted
And her song is really fun, I can recommend her music quite a bit actually (still sad that she never really got her breakthrough in the music industry)
@cowboylikezain
Once again, both is fine, but when it comes to songwriting, Taylors is way more detailed and descriptive. Like, no matter what lyric you choose from Taylor, you always get an entire illustration in your mind and not just basic facts being stated.
@lana_midnights
This is inaccurate. Taylor would never let Evermore speak. Evermore is kind of like Meg from Family Guy, she'd probably ask Red instead.
@thegodlore
...They did not just say charlie, right? That is literally music that is only bearable in a club while you are drunk, because at that point you do not care what is playing. She definitely doesn't deserve any award for that mess.
@comebvckbehere
The fact that so many people apparently skip this song is incredibly weird to me. It's high up on my favorites for this album, it's so good.
@gayloranti
The fact that folklore, a surprise album that easily outsold Billies album prior to evermore, is completely ignored by that weird account just shows that they are only here for trolling. You have to be REALLY desperate to compare sales to evermore.
@cowboylikebey
Also, as a gay man, I never understood why Taylor is getting so much hate from other gay men. Sorry that she isn't shaking her ass to every song, that's not what defines a good concert. Her stage presence is so phenomenal and all of the performances are breathtakingly stunning.
@ChappellCharts
Chappell discounted her album and no one called her desperate for doing that this week. Stop picking and choosing stuff to make Taylor seem bad and generally stop putting to phenomenal women against each other. Both are amazing.
@Rosetheswift
And as soon as you call them out on it they are like "wow swifties are insufferable, they can't take a joke". All Taylor antis are just vile human beings and something like that just isn't a joke.
@100bIunts
@thisismirsolikh
There is nothing wrong with some fun and more "weird" lyrics, but acting like this line is some sort of lyrical masterpiece is a crime against the English language. Lana has so many good lines, but this one really isn't an achievement💀
@theantiquepoett
It is subjective, but the issue I have with this is the fact that that person is immediately offended by the idea that someone thinks Taylor is the better songwriter. Like, both women can write phenomenally and it's basically just personal opinion on who you prefer more.
@giftedswifted
Losing the last great american dynasty was terrible, because it is one of my favorite songs. We got the TTPD set, but we did lose some masterpieces on the setlist for it.
@cowboylikezain
That is basically the equivalent of "showing, not telling". With Taylor, you have an illustrated image in your mind and you know what she is saying without simply stating what she is doing. The other one is similar to the writing in badly written fanfiction.
@athenamount
Brat was not made for the art, it's just really basic "gay pop" (I don't even wanna call it that, there are so many better albums in that category) and the album cover took like five seconds to make in photoshop (or I'd even guess she just used Microsoft Paint ).
@imalltoowell
It is also incredibly weird how, once again, only Taylor is getting atttacked for being around her. What is with those other people in the picture? None of those get hate tweets for just being there and there isn't a good excuse why Taylor is the only one getting harassed for it.
@athenamount
Taylor is literally played nearly everywhere where I live. It's basically impossible to not know her hit songs, even the ones from more then 10 years ago. Especially I knew you were trouble, Anti Hero and Blank Space are always known by nearly everyone if you ask them.
@taylorsantihero
We are in the age of 2024 and women are still slut shamed for just dating people. Especially since men are never criticized vor their similarly big dating life. Also, most of the "20 more" are just random people somehow associated with Taylor, not actually any of her exes.
@getawayonce
"every corner of pop culture" Most people don't even know brat exists, let's start with that. Like can they stop thinking some viral videos on TikTok and Instagram have any impact on the actual world💀
@CarineK
The fact they try to use TikTok to see if a song is a hit💀 There is literally a new song that goes viral on there every week, just to get forgotten again within like 2 days. It's important to look at how many people actively listen to the songs, not random "viral" videos.
@gotmybluemoon
I have listened to some of the songs, but it's absolutely not worth it. Generic club music that you can only listen to while drunk. The most annoying thing tho is the fact that I'm constantly getting ads on Spotify about her even tho I blocked her on there💀
@willnights1
The songs also still sound very different? Like, what are they trying to prove? Saying that Taylor's songs all sound the same will never work, because that is just a straight up lie and the people who genuinely believe that should probably get their ears checked💀
@positionsmafiaa
@PopBase
Shakespeare literally has a quote like this and we still consider him to be one of the greatest poets even nowadays. Just say that you hate fun and move on.
@athenamount
Also saying that WE have been nasty after all the sh*t they have said about Taylor, constantly putting down anything she has ever achieved and attacking here for mo reason, is so disgusting. They should look in the mirror first before accusing us of being the problem.
@SpotifySC
@SabrinaAnnLynn
@TeamSabrina
I am genuinely so proud of her! She definitely deserves to get into that top 10! Maybe she can even be another artist to have over 100 million monthly listeners👀 (She'll probably reach it after her new album, but it'd be fun is she'd achieve it earlier).
@Ammarlovereto13
People really can't praise their faves anymore without mentioning Taylor, it's crazy💀 It's never "I love the music" or "I love the video", but instead "it's better than Taylor" for absolutely no reason.
@metaangeli
The reason they have to show this is because their faves can't even get 11 million streams on a song (maybe a few exceptions and that's it).
@l_OR_de
@AOTY2024
"Alike lyrics" and then you actually have songs talking about the tour, her current relationship, her saying goodbye to her past, addressing her fans about the way they treat her on the Internet, the way women get treated etc., but sure those lyrics are so similar💀
@Themb0flcation
She is having fun, that's all that matters. People get mad about literally anything she does, I'm getting worried about her haters mental health, because at that point their hatred is an obsession and an illness.
@tantaytay
They always talk about "viral" videos and how much impact they have when literally ANYTHING can get millions of likes💀 It's so embarrassing that that is the only thing those fandoms can be proud of.
@elincomprendid
If it was forgettable, people wouldn't listen to it💀 Not our fault that Taylor creates long lasting albums and not singles that go viral on TikTok for a week before becoming irrelevant. Example from Beyonce with Texas Hold em. When it came out, it was everywhere. Now? Forgotten.
@thegodlore
Like yeah, if you don't listen to an album, then you can't name a song from it💀 (Even though the people that say that usually had multiple tweets before talking about the lyrics in I Hate It Here, So High School or The Tortured Poets Department)
@darkyonce92_
@everlikeme
I would argue a music video is more impactful than a couple voice memos, but sure, live in your delusions. Also, I'd really love to see those 40 versions, but you pulled that number out of thin air to have an argument.
