Trinidad & Tobago is perhaps one of the few countries in the world, if not the only one, where a mosque, a temple and a church can be within walking distance from each other. In my community, a mosque and a temple are side by side, and a church is 10 feet away. Incredible.

And what’s worse is that OUR culture, OUR food, OUR music etc. is literally seen as the Caribbean default…Jamaica gets to keep their identity separate, and they’ll fight tooth and nail…but when we do, we’re separatist and bitter bad. 😩

Imagine people on FB vex because self-employed people/sole traders like doubles vendors, mini mart operators, vegetable stall vendors etc will have to register their businesses and eventually have to pay income tax…like literally all other employed people and their employers…😒

Personally, if I’m with a man and I know his ex still is in love with him or hurting because they ended…and he doesn’t feel the same…I’m not going to go out of my way to “brag” about my relationship with him. Something about that seems cold, unnecessarily mean and childish.
