This is a direct order from young Lt. George Patton. Download Bandito now! It will cost you less than a cup of coffee and you’ll have a print you can frame for your walls. You are also supporting hand-drawn human art!
Sorry, I lost my whole fucking LIFE and CAREER when my leftist employer of 10+ years got wind of my political leanings. Add Family and Lifelong friendships to that list.
No Quarter.
If you’re still operating under Marcus of Queensbury rules you are NGMI.
Getting cancelled was so life-shattering because I am an artist in a creative field. The left OWNS this culture. You are exiled from money and influence. Erased. And when I took on a project last year with a Z-list artists studio (out of desperation) I was saddled with GenZ
Its incredible to me as a Gen-X watching every one of the icons and institutions I was raised on systematically revealing themselves as corrupt frauds.
And conversely - the “bad guys” (Nixon, etc) getting a proper re-evaluation. Everything I was told growing up WAS A LIE.
@walterkirn
I think about this a lot lately. Lifelong friendships that bordered on the familial severed. Followed by a now 3 year silence. Do they now question their stance? Guess I will never know.
I was working on the Disney/ABC lot at the time on the show Grey’s Anatomy (yes, I know 🙄)
These are photos of Patrick Dempsey with the crew from the Season 2 finale
I am living with a boomer parent who is quickly spiraling into dementia. The angry outbursts and unhinged rants (fueled by alcohol) have rendered life a minefield where I’m constantly walking on eggshells. Its affecting my creativity. Pray for me.
The last 24 hourse have been quite revealing. Block button getting a workout. Many of you have never had to sacrifice anything for your principles and it shows.
A lot of goobers out there.
Time to log off and go paint.
Cheers
Been binge watching The Rifleman (1958-1963) with Chuck Connors. Every episode a lesson in morality and the masculine code of the west. No matriarchy to be found. No hicklibs. Pilot written and a few eps directed by a young Peckinpah. This was Television in the
Nixon. Now more than ever.
Anyone following me knows the lore: my father ran a restaurant in San Clemente in the 70’s. Pat Nixon used to come and hold me as a baby. My parents were hippys. I made this a few years ago. Its a deeply personal piece.
“The battle, The Struggle!”
Aren’t you a fucking journalist? Maybe look into how a “dirt poor” 18yo Wendys employee attained 10k worth of weaponry and a 70k pickup truck. Might be a story, no? Hack.
@GraduatedBen
His National Garden of American Heroes was such an inspired idea. I was already drafting sketches for it. I was crushed when Potato-head rescinded it his first day of office.
@CaptainConcurs
Things we were taught in school re: Nixon are all lies. Its incredibly liberating to research the truth. What else were they lying about?
On this day in 1918, the Romanov family is murdered by the Bolsheviks. Beyond the question of regicide, this became a signal moment in the history of Bolshevik rule. Administrative execution by shooting would become an indispensable tool of the Communist state.
@VikingSver
I suffered a very similar script albeit I was told I am “intimidating” (i’m 6’3, 210) and need to “watch what I say around the younger female staff” because I wouldn’t pander to their drama.
This is such a millenial take and not unexpected from a generation that never saw anyone/thing face the consequences of their actions.
Maybe sit this one out, George.
Conservatives discovering it feels good to Cancel their enemies
• Makes you feel safe
• Makes you feel strong
• The people you were afraid of now fear you
• Develop a talent for it
• Begin enjoying it
• Your friends warn you to chill
• Cancel them, too
• You are god now
Read this in one sitting last night.
@GPrime85
you have outdone yourself on an artistic level. I am truly blown away.
@RAZ0RFIST
the writing was classic pulp western with clever dialogue. Left me wanting more.
I hope this will become a series!
Really can’t recommend this work
Guess I can finally drop the pulp cover for The Hippie Hunter, my graphic novel that recieved an honourable mention by
@Babygravy9
and possible publication in
@mansworldmag_
(16x20, acrylic on canvas)
@hollowearthterf
I work for an “artist” that exclusively sells his wares via the cruise ship industrial art complex. Its bad art. He sells millions of dollars worth a year to said boomers.
@L0m3z
I think what you are seeing is the “Everyone Gets A Trophy” generation is getting slapped with the reality that people can be held accountable for their actions. That there are consequences. They’ve never seen it before and it makes them queasy. Its very telling.
@remnantposting
@p_digitz
Can confirm. Lived next door to a couple dikes in CA and was like living next to a nut house. One of them was transing to a dude. Screaming, domestic violence calls. They also owned a pit bull. Total nightmare.
We need to be adventure-maxxing. We need to inspire you to get off your ass and out into the world. We need a retvrn to reckless masculinity. I am creating a new pulp age.
@metaplexmovies
Hard to fathom its the same Spielberg behind the camera on Crystal Skull. A bloated, lumbering exercise with a nearly 3 hour run time and countless climaxes.
In the new Timeline we will see a return of Deco-Mobiles. As Thiel mentioned on Rogan our physical space has not changed in decades. We must have a focus on the elevation of physical aesthetics (architecture, art, etc) going forward.
Biggest form of cognitive dissonance for me is when I see an artist I admire and respect spout the most ignorant left-wing talking points. The struggle between - dig your work - & you’re an absolute moron - short circuits my brain.
@BunnyConrad75
Have you submitted to
@PassagePress
?
@dbldealer
? There are some emerging platforms out there. Traditional agents and publishers are dead. Over. Make your own way.
Tapped into cartooning again for an upcoming publication.
At the end of the day this is the base of my expression and that which brings the most joy.
Find it where you can.
@AndrewBeckUSA
Well, I don’t see anyone on the so-called Right championing/supporting artists to counter this, culturally. Just a lot of pearl clutching.
@El_Gabacho_
Its my contention that PTA is secretly based. Check the masonic symbolism (and critique of insider Hollywood) in Magnolia, he’s the only director to ever adapt Pynchon, TWBB and Licorice Pizza celebrate the hustle of capitalism. Boogie Nights is thematically
@walterkirn
The bottomless pit episodes. Also TWA flight 800. I started listening to these old eps on Spotify. Its like watching old Columbo episodes. Theres something comforting about it all. Hope you make this movie, Walter.
I promised a
#followfriday
and I am a man of my word. I’ve received many DMs the last few days inquiring about artists and platforms to follow so here is a list of people doing good work.
Follow and support them.
These are the culture makers of our New Era:
@Rux_Dacoromana
@GPrime85
This is the mentality of every rw twitter cultural grifter. Imagine the impact they could have promoting artists like yourself and Ghosts, for example. I just unfollow and mute them now.
Art-Snob Goobers in the comments of my New Deco post whinged about how “Marxist-coded” the art was. We can’t have strong, every-man aesthetics! Meanwhile this eye-cancer has proliferated since the Obama-era.
I used to naively think that living a Red State LARP was the answer to escaping CA shitlib insanity but it isn’t. It is so pervasive now it really doesn’t matter where you are.
Boomer gets enraged/shouts at the TV as Black National Anthem Plays before Sportsball. Continues watching anyway. This is really the crux of the matter and why we are where we are as a country.
@JoshLekach
SSRI girl waits 6 hours for a water bottle and gets sushi in Silverlake. Bret Easton Ellis couldn’t write character this vapid.
LA is dead.
Welcome all my new followers. Just so you know - the California animation I created and that
@GraduatedBen
tweeted about is actually a 20 minute long unfinished film set to Wagner that took me 6 months to finish, bankrupted me and got me cancelled from my day job.
Some personal trivia: I was born in San Clemente, CA where my father used to run a restaurant.
Mrs. Nixon would come in occasionally and ask to hold me as a baby.
Pat had good instincts.
In 1987, Richard Nixon wrote this letter to Donald Trump after his wife watched this interview:
“Dear Donald, I did not see the program but Mrs. Nixon told me that you were great on ‘The Donahue Show,’.. As you can imagine, she is an expert on politics and she predicts that
