Here's the final piece! I recently reached 3K followers on tumblr, so I thought it might be fun to redo one of my earliest models as a way to measure my progression.
You can also check it out on Sketchfab!
Sorry for the lack of activity lately. I'm (still) enjoying my hard-earned vacations abroad with my family
Anyway, here's one of the character models for my next little project
Okay I know some people are interested in how I did this, so I decided to make a little thread about anime style vertex editing in Blender. I hope it helps!
After years of procrastination, I finally decided to learn how to tweak normals in Blender
It felt a little intimidating at first but I think I'm getting the hang of it
I've been experimenting with shaders in Blender, trying to achieve an anime/2D-esque look.
Not perfect yet, but I think the head is starting to look pretty good!

Hey guys! Sketchab reached out to me to host a little 3D competition - with pretty cool prizes for the winner!
Create a lowpoly witch model and upload it to Sketchfab with the
#WitchChallenge
tag. I'll pick a winner on the 2nd of November
Good luck and happy Halloween! ๐โจ
Posting one last thing before going on vacations!
I want to use this character to experiment with render a little bit, but even if it doesn't pan out at least I'm satisfied with the base model
Finished it! I was curious to see how this design would hold up once translated from lowpoly to highpoly, and I'm pretty happy with the result ๐
#ZBrush
โจI'm having a 5k followers special raffle!โจ
Rules:
โจLike and retweet
โจFollow if you don't already
The winner gets a lowpoly 3D version of the character of their choice (it can be an OC or anyone else, doesn't matter).
I'll pick the winner the 26th using Tweet draw!
Hi! I'm Alice, a 2D/3D character artist based in France, and I make a lot of cutesy lowpoly stuff for fun.

It might sound weird but hyper realism in games frustrates me
Studios use a medium that gives them unlimited creative freedom yet still decide to go for the most boring aesthetic imaginable. Smh
I've been using my Ukiuk to test out shaders for a future project and... I'm actually satisfied with the result
It still needs a little bit of tweaking but I think it looks pretty good already
