My book is live. Paperback only for now, Kindle should be up later today.
My dissertation on Nietzsche, Plato, Pindar has been much distorted in mass media. I've added a long intro also, etc.
I know "selective breeding" is unusual. No offense intended!
Andrew with a phone call I can have your internet privileges revoked. With two other phone call you will be in a Romanian jail cell communal shared with 8 “cocalari” who wear clothes smoked by garbage fires and haven’t showered in years. Would you enjoy these things?
Dear white men.
You’re fucked.
You’re being replaced because none of you have children.
Even those of you bitching about the replacement online like little girls don’t find the gumption to fuck.
I see white men bragging about having 5 kids as if it’s an achievement. lol.
Quite amazing. My book reached number 23 rank on Amazon site-wide, that's among all books in all categories. I am flattered and amazed! I don't think an obscure Platonist graduate thesis ever had this level of spread...or any PhD thesis for that matter. Maybe Kissinger's?
In the same way Moldbug worked to overturn rationalist-type ideas to reveal truth, I think this work challenges the modern ideas of what philosophy is, and was, meant for—revealing other much older truths in the process
Waiting for the revised copy to arrive. Join the club
Journalists at major American publications seem interested in me, an obscure reader of Plato. Gratuitously they claim things about my background. Here is my DNA. Both haplos are unusual but ydna is odd.
Also here is my baptismal certificate. Hope this clears up any confusion!
@bronzeagemantis
Honestly it’s kind of shocking…and I’m appalled you’d say something like this. I don’t think this is very appropriate. I am trying to reassess the situation
Many questions have been raised regarding this post about the shirt I'm wearing. The brand is Osklen, a Brazilian brand. They make very high quality linen shirts and other nice summer clothes.
I like Brazil as a diverse and vibrant culture.
My book stayed in the top 100 on Amazon, SITEWIDE, in all book categories for the first four days of publication. A great honor, and a dedication to the eternal spirit of NIETZSCHE. And it is time for celebration!

What's next? Some are encouraging me to write series of profiles of ancient and Renaissance tyrants, similar to JFK's "Profiles in Courage"; I want to be socially responsible! But I am thinking I will post mostly on foods and might write a travel food review memoir.
I am still learning how X works. I see many new followers how are all of you? This site is fascinating. I was traveling and I must say, Jamaican jerk chicken is a special favorite. I love the spicy flavors and I like to celebrate diverse cultures. Do you enjoy reggae in Kingston?
My grandfather from my Jewish side speaking at a Communist Party rally some time in the late 1930's I think. After the war he was one of the founders of the first Communist regime in Romania. I believe he did mostly something related to propaganda. He is the one speaking.
I’ve been enjoying cyberpunk Azia most of this year do you like this view…and yet the nicest corners of civilization in this part of the world were planted by European colonists and the great British Empire.
I am not myself a good or sophisticated cook but one thing I do know to make well is omelette. I'm hungry now and thinking of sloppy omelette I'll make tomorrow morning with pastured eggs, king oyster mushroom and melted Tomme cheese. I cut mushrooms into thin strips!
Hey guys what’s going on. Eggs meurette are a classic Burgundy dish of eggs poached in red wine. I recently had a done-up version, mousseline of eggs in Perigord sauce—a heavy sauce of wine and black truffles. There was also a nice aspic of wine on top of cured yolk.
I was actually looking for an ancient equivalent to "selective breeding." But in eg these famous passages (from Republic) Plato uses words like "gennao" and "genos." So the ancient equivalent would be "eugenics," but that's just too much a loaded term today. And I'm a moderate.

I am concerned by the shocking rise of anti-Romanian rhetoric in mass media. I don't read newspapers because they're plebeian slop, but I am told several major zines that appeal to a gutter-trash parvenu audience used defamatory words and stereotypes about Romanians.
Thanks to so many friends for nice wishes of support and for praising my book. I will try to answer soon and follow back. For now I drink some nice things and party.
Although I love cooked foods and elaborate dishes, my favorite celebration foods are various nice raw seafoods
The day I became a Young Pioneer. I don't remember if 1987 or 88.
Some say that because of this I am the fruit of true consciousness, pure class consciousness unalloyed by Capitalist superstructure. I think this is possible.
I don’t remember if this was from Clown Bar in Paris or alcohols celebrate later that night …I like shine of Hyperborea …you admire innocent absent look in eye
I will be posting some satisfying meals I’ve had over the last few months. This is typical Japanese set meal with rice soup and pickles etc …in this case featuring beef tongue. This can give great energy for the day.
Yes this is interesting. I’m Romanian but it’s racially a very diverse country. My dad is rare type Jew, my mom is from a very Russian seaside part, I believe her ancestors were Old Believers from Russia. Here are I think her great-great-grandparents in traditional Russian dress
From India to Lebanon to Serbia and Romania seekh kebab / kafta/ cevapi/ mititei are essentially the same popular fast food, a variation on hamburger but with some added seasonings and served with different sides. In Bucharest the best mici are at Obor market, informal
Good news! Amazon has placed my book at a steep discount for paperback …close to $10 instead of the usual $30; something they only do rarely and temporarily for a few titles with sustained interest. Get it now in paperback if you haven’t and read it then tell me what think

For those not in the know …and many Romanians don’t know origin of word either but “cocalar” refers as such to a “tribe” of Gypsies who specialize in collecting and eating roadkill.

The Kindle version is now up. From this link you can also access the paperback I think:
Here is the beginning of the preface. The introduction is also quite unusual and touches on many contemporary debates. I may now have a pisco sour to celebrate!

Sorry to have been away but I was in meditation yoga in the Carpathians. I’ve come back because I’ve been asked to do a special on cheese pastries from around the world (mostly savory). Everyone knows gougeres but there are many others. Coming soon!
I am told my book on Plato and Nietzsche was the decisive trigger for the events of October 7 and after. The Islamic Republic of Iran was created by Khomeini in accordance with Platonic statecraft from the Laws and a series of drastic decisions ensued in Qom upon reading my book.
One of my favorite light summer dishes is tiradito de pulpo al olivo, a Peruvian classic, carpaccio of octopus in an olive sauce...it is possible to have this dish very rustic or very refined. It is a light and satisfying meal on hot days. Sometimes I enjoy it with pisco sour!
An article I wrote in 2017 published in Daily Caller that was then mysteriously deleted (by which editor there??)
Posting it now again because Haiti is back in the news and this is in part about Haiti and Papa Doc Duvalier and immigration policy to USA
Anthony Bourdain could have been so much better …and it’s possible he would have reformed prior to… He could have had better cultural commentary…a better historical imagination. Maybe there is another who can…
The black pepper crab at this night market too salty btw

One of most satisfying meals I had recently …I love Uighur food. I ate too much however and was in snakelike food coma. The stir fry lamb tripe and organs dish was very good, slight numbing pepper flavor and is quite hard to find
"And as soon as the tribe ceases to be swayed by the timid and divided counsels of the elders, and yields to the direction of a single strong and resolute mind, it becomes formidable to its neighbours and enters on a career of aggrandisement..."
Book coming very soon ;)
Just to clear up any questions, this will indeed be my dissertation--which, unlike most doctoral dissertations, I hear is quite fun to read. But I have also added a long new introduction, preface, etc; I figured since there's so much media attention on it, it's time...
Archaic Greek drinking song, "Song of Hybrias." They held an unconventional view of good and bad, that by today's conventions would be seen as unacceptable.
A common dish in Cantonese restaurants all over the world is Singapore noodle, thin rice noodle wok-fried with curry powder, some veg, prawn and pork. Satisfying and spicy lunch
PROTIP: with leftovers or next-day takeout heat it in hot pan with spoon of coconut oil. Delicious
Book did very well and still is. It stayed in the top 100 for the first 4-5 days and has held up solid since. Top 1000 I think first week to 10 days.
I will make efforts in coming days to respond to friends and eventually to any good-faith interesting criticisms of the book.
Now that time has passed I admit I’m shocked by how well
@CostinAlamariu
is still selling. Anything below 5,000 in the ranking is considered a real success. For comparison, Hanania’s book, publicized by HarperCollins and also selling respectably, is fading farther faster.
The most sophisticated Middle East food now thought is the Persian. In photo is the rather stuffy dish fesenjan (chicken in pomegranate and walnut sauce). Probably historically the Ottoman court had the most sophisticated food in the region but those traditions were lost.
As a matter of fact I was about to post on this yes. One of my most satisfying comfort meals is Lebanese mezzes. I like all types but simple very satisfying lunch is Beirut-style hummus (with pickles inside), chicken skewers on pita, and toum garlic sauce; I love harissa too
Schweinshaxe is German style crispy pork knuckle; eisbein seems to be the whole shank. On left you see German cooking version, on right is the Romanian version you find at establishment Bucharest restaurant Caru cu Bere

I am hungry. On a chilly day a favorite meal is Szechuan-style crispy lamb stir fry with cumin. I think it might be originally a Xijiang Uighur dish. It's very good with white rice and hot tea on a cold day.
A plate of foie gras served over stewed apples, Perigord comfort food …a dish that again can give you great strength for a night of obsessive walks, especially if you have a target. Please remember to ignore Google map reviews in Paris.
I find this Cantonese style pork intestine with spice peppers, garlics and other aromatic things addictive. I plan to have an episode where I will comment on such dishes in much detail
One of the great pleasures of life in spring in Romania is the coming of "bitter cherries." I haven't been able to find this fruit in any other country, though it must exist in neighboring ones. It is one of the most perfect fruit with balance between sweet, bitter and sour
The tyropita is a Greek phyllo dough pastry filled with feta cheese. I personally dislike feta cheese cooked or any other format than just fresh with tomatoes etc but these pastries are an exception; much depends on execution of crispy light dough
A nice light drinking snack too

Not extremely appetizing-looking, but tripe soup is a specialty of the Balkans and Near East and was traditionally served at the Ottoman court as the food of the Janissary warrior elite. It is a sour stew of tripe, vinegar and cream/sour cream. Very hearty and gives energy.
This is a really shocking and problematic title and I'm not sure I can approve of this kind of irresponsible provocation. I have no idea what Bill is thinking, this is quite too much. I am now a very moderate man.
It takes a while I understand for the book to appear in various Amazon markets. I know there are many interested readers in Europe. It should appear on the European Amazon sites in the next few days I think.
A while back I wrote this article for Taki's. I mentioned at the time how some pundits were attacking Hugo Chavez for "antisemitism" but ignoring how he and others similar also attacked whites and Europeans. That seems somehow relevant to "ongoing debates" in media at moment.
In Tokyo right across from coffee shop Blue Bottle in Aoyama there opened in spring a new hot dog shop. They make very good hot dog to satisfy American food cravings. They also allow pet as you can see (not mine). I high recommend if you are in area ^_^

I mean I really think you should stay out of this? I’m not sure if you know his views on black people so I don’t get this. Furthermore I find your account also quite problematic. Like I’m not sure if it’s meant to be just gratuitously offensive.
The best dates in the world are from Oman. These are a very good snack with certain type of cheese or nuts, or just by themselves. I like to have them with coffee.
This is a good book; although strictly academic, so it’s dry…but it covers Nietzsche’s early philological work on Theognis, and helps you understand roots of “aristocratic radicalism.” Nietzsche from youngest years shows ability to reconstruct the past and an alien morality.

Real nice. So now you’re threatening me? Like this is in the end your powerful “argument”? Like you think it’s ok for him to make that post and basically endorse antisemitism and intolerance? And now you’re playing all the stereotypes of the strutting Congo man that he mocks.

One of the most comforting meals full of energy is pork intestine stir fry spicy Hunan or Taiwan style, or crisp fry pork intestine, found all over China but I like Hong Kong. This spice stirfry with side of hot rice is very satisfying.
A favorite and nutritious dish is calf or lamb brains, I prefer them cooked in a butter and lemon sauce in the oven. You can find them done chicken-tendies style in many countries. In Bucharest there's an old-style restaurant called Zexe that specializes in offal

I thought this was a forum for discussing the arts, politics, philosophy and I didn’t realize I was entering some kind of vulgar space. Like I’ve enjoyed some of his posts but he’s crossed the line into intolerance and now you’re making him out to be Haile Selassie 2nd coming.
Werner Jaeger on Pindar as the voice of the Greek aristocracy, and the lofty vision it gave mankind of the human body and the physical contest divinized. I talk more on this in the book that will come out very soon.
My grandfather on delegation in Moscow in the 1950's. He is the one speaking.
I like this photo it has a very Soviet air! I am from original communist line, a true product of pure class consciousness. Possibly even the New Man of the new Marxist world.
Maybe some of you are uncomfortable with me posting mostly unaesthetic plates of comfort food and would like more refined presentations. I am considering this: and also someone has mentioned they would like me to do a kind of travel eating show in style of Bourdain. I will see...

on how elites in the West use mob hysteria as a tool to silence and crush dissent. Their own Red Guard with "plausible deniability." I told you it would get worse!
The limpet is a mollusk like sea snail but it tastes firm and clean like a clam, no belly. A specialty of the Azores and Portugal, I enjoy them grilled with butter and garlic. With some good bread for dipping this makes a tasty meal that will give you energy for the day.
