The gargantuan
@Boeing
777-9 coming into KCOS for high altitude testing. I don’t think people realize the size of this thing, 1st and 3rd shot are uncropped and still have a bit of plane left out of them.
A KC-10 as “XTNDER21” returns to KCOS from KCHS to fuel up and head back home. Just 2 days after I thought I’d never see this guy again, here he is.

A Canadian CP-140 Aurora flying over 17L here at KCOS. Can’t believe this thing actually came by and did a pass, I’ve wanted to see one for years and my first is an international one!
US Navy E6B mercury as “BONDO01” heading into KCOS after doing some flying out west. This thing is so cool and sounds absolutely beautiful.

A USAF C40 Clipper coming into the springs over the weekend carrying some USAF cadets for the academy. I’ve been trying to see a USAF Clipper for a while now, definitely feels really nice to see it.
Well, there’s another really cool spot. This one isn’t even at an airport 👀. A UH60 from the CO Army Nat. Guard landing at the Briargate armory dropping off some dudes from doing something in the mountains.
Little bit of a quick edit but, here’s an Atlas Air 747-400 coming into KCOS as a Military charter. Very nice to finally have seen Atlas’ freighter after only seeing their PAX variant.
A Casa C212 registered as N434CA flying into NASNI during my day trip out there. This was my first time seeing this aircraft and it’s definitely in my book of fav props
A Korean Air 777-300 landing at KCOS as a charter all the way from Osan Air Base in South Korea. I must say, this was really something I never thought I’d ever see here but, KCOS will do KCOS things 🤷♂️
KC-46 “PACK91” heading out of KCOS to do some refueling over the eastern CO border. Got to get on the ramp and see this guy before he headed out too! First time meeting
@Bren_Horton
as well, very cool guy!
Went out to NASNI before I leave back for DEN tomorrow and saw this Customs and Border Protection Beech 350 King Air flying in! Really cool, also added a new aircraft to the Rolodex while I was out 👀
RCAF A310 stopping by KCOS for a touch and go before heading out. One of the last aircraft I thought I’d ever spot just for it to show up in my backyard!
Here’s some American Airlines shots I really like since I’m out of military stuff to post. The forth is hands down my favorite commercial shot with 777X in the back.
2 EA-18 Growlers from VAQ-137 “The Rooks” assigned to the USS Theodore Roosevelt, flew in to KCOS today. It was an awesome day to try out the new 100-400mm.
