Pope Shenouda was explicitly teaching against humans becoming part of the Godhead. This is an extremely big teaching in Protestantism, Pope Shenouda saved us by condemning it.

Sure, there is no difference in the Greek, but even Fr Tadros recounts Dr Maurice saying, “in Arabic there are some possibilities.” Pope Shenouda was speaking Arabic, not Greek, hence why he was preventing heresy in Arabic.
