Jackson Underwood is a fairly significant loss. As stated earlier, he had shown some flashes of being really good this year. Especially on April 9th against Vandy, where he tossed three scoreless frames while striking out two. I think he’ll catch on somewhere and be a good arm.

Absolutely phenomenal game from Patrick Johnson. 6.2 IP, 3 ER, 7 Ks and threw 110 pitches against a team who averaged nearly eight runs a game. His game has been a major boost for MTSU and if they win today Johnson deserves a good amount of credit!
