Rewatching Spectacular Spider-Man, and it is INSANE how they did a “Ned Leeds” adaptation better than years later. (I LOVE Jacob tho, and can respect their decisions, but taking too much from Ganke hurt Miles in the long run)

That’s crazy bc in Superman’s first appearance he was called the champion of the oppressed, stops a wrongly convicted execution, stops a domestic abuser, and exposes a corrupt politician. Issues later he would then go on to help with the poor conditions of public housing.

But, he was literally only a teen for a few years notably meeting MOST of his popular supporting cast in his college years. @coelakaith Hi! I think Batman:Ego and does an amazing job at defining the character and is very Bruce Wayne’s pathos focused. Its themes slightly informed the Pattinson film and I think it’s my personal fav I’d also suggest The Long Halloween as it shows the different rogues and mystery
