I hear player complain about the better players taking more shots and getting more opportunities to score on the court. They call them selfish. It’s also selfish for a player who doesn’t work on his game at all to want the same amount of opportunities. Why do you deserve that?

For players and coaches: Players learn how to “do you” within the game. You just can’t go rogue. Coaches, don’t be so against players “doing them” during the game. Players need freedom. Coach them, don’t punish them.

I have a 40 min drive to work. I get up at 5:30am to be at the gym by 6:45am daily so my guys can shoot an hour before school. We lift after school 4 days a week. The goal is to create a culture of work! But I also tell them, if this the only time you work, it’s not enough #BTB

Took an extremely young group to UGA yesterday and lost by 5, 1, & 6 to North Gwinnett, Winder Barrow, and Woodward Academy. We had a few key pieces missing but really liked what I saw from the new guys in new roles after 4 days of practice. Give it 5 months tho, 😏😏 #BTB

I go to a lot of AAU games in the summer. High level and low level. It’s absolutely crazy to me how parents encourage their child to shoot EVERY touch. Bad shot after bad shot. Bad basketball plays over and over…and then yell “every time” when he finally makes one. Alarming!
