Final thought on this Seeds were awful for MW teams. They obviously need to see our teams win in March, and consider SDSU an exception. It gives us harder 1st rd opponents yes But, there is not one game among the 6 that is unwinnable. So let's focus on winning the next few days

UNM played absolutely fantastic tonight Shot 52% from the field and 40% from 3 Outrebounded USU 36-29 Got monster games from multiple guys, and came up short because the Aggies were one possession better Would really be a shame to not see this team in the postseason

Ho hum, another Mountain West team 12-1 in the non con ! Welcome to the club Nevada. Wolf Pack complete a 4-0 trip to Hawaii winning the Diamondhead Classic over GT Join CSU as 3-0 MWC teams against P6 competition this year ! 1/2

Where do I start Let’s start with huge props to Joe Scott and his Falcons. When you’re 1-12 in league play and you’ve already lost by 20 to the Lobos, now you have to go play in The Pit, many teams would be defeated before the tip. Not Air Force Massive win for them

Gathering my bearings after that madness, few other thoughts It's a tired line by now, because I have used it since November with USU - but they have found ways to win games. Very few teams have that gene They are very deserved solo champs of the Mountain West Conference

A thought on CSU that I’ve had for a few weeks They’ve really been bottled up offensively against the conference opponents that are well coached and know their style When they get into the Big Dance against an unfamiliar opponent, they’ll get it rolling again. Hope I’m right !

Should SDSU be ranked? 100% Does it matter? Not at all, except as a source of frustration for fans Most voters couldn’t name more than one Aztec player (sad but true) The rankings and metrics that matter (NET, KenPom) value the Aztecs and the MWC - don’t sweat it !!

Gets a bit hairy late, but CSU controls the 2h and wins it 76-68 over UNM The Lobos may, and I'm not sure they do, but they may have the more talented roster.. But that's not what wins games against good teams, it's doing things the right way. CSU excels there Thoughts 1/5

I know opposing fans in the MW dislike him, but Jarod Lucas is an absolute showman He is theater and fun to watch. I will miss him next year. Too bad he was never coached by Danny Hurley. They would be a top rated Netflix show Takes stones to bury that shot after missing 3 ft’s

Boise St too good - that's the bottom line right there No real weaknesses and they are clicking on all cylinders. I would assume this win all but locks them up into the NCAA Tournament They're playing for a Mountain West title though, 2 more huge games to come ! 1/2

Initial NET rankings for Mountain West teams CSU 7 Nev 21 SDSU 24 USU 34 UNM 36 AF 118 Boise 126 SJSU 130 Wyo 187 UNLV 197 Fresno 299 Knew CSU would be that high, they deserve it Surprised AF is above Boise Fresno ranking will hurt if they knock off a top team

Heard this was coming. Tonje adds versatility and depth, and has experience in the Mountain West. Hopefully he’s fully recovered from his foot injury by the fall This alone won’t win you a title, but right now it’s pretty clear the Lobos have the most talented roster in the MW
