@CoachMckieJr Off-season workouts have gotten out of hand nationwide with high schools. Have your expectations set but kids are also kids and play multiple sports. Don’t make them feel guilty to go to your 6:00 am lift session in January-May. It’s overkill and doesn’t make your team “better”

Everybody THINKS they want to be a coach until they have to do all the manual labor as well. Field work (cutting grass, painting fields, dethatching grass),laundry, driving kids home, etc. COACHING IS THE EASY PART. Wouldn’t have it any other way. You’ll be a better coach for it
