Those are two far different plays but credit for a valiant effort. I hope the hours it spent digging that up was worth it. End of discussion.

I may have been out of line to call out Bergen Catholic as a whole because there is no way of knowing if the player was coaxed into doing this. However he is part of the program and the both of them should be held equally responsible for allowing this to take place.

Your player blatantly speared our player’s knee cap with his helmet on a good as dead play. That’s far different from jumping on player especially when the video doesn’t show if the whistle was blown.

The league would rather be spending their time elsewhere than delivering consequences especially considering that the season is now over.

Any player, especially one who’s trying to get recruited would be intelligent enough not to do this. This is a lot bigger than “one play”. This kid blatantly speared our player’s knee all for nothing. This is about being humane and having morals.

That’s an excellent point Coach Katz. However, the football program should take equal responsibility for allowing this to happen. There was no penalty on the play and there were no repercussions that i’m aware of.
