I was called to attend a cesarean delivery yesterday. As I walked into the theater, I saw this black guy. As usual for me, I checked the patients name, and it didn't sound Nigerian, so I assumed they were carribean. Baby came out, I resuscitated, and she was fine.

I've made it a point to always relate with Nigerians on a naija level just to reassure them and answer their questions. The way I switch to pidgin/yoruba/hausa ehn 😊😊😊. It's when you are in Nigeria that you will be claiming hausa/yoruba/igbo. Out here, we are all Nigerians.

We had a tiny 450g baby last night who had developed a massive pneumothorax, had needle decompression done but kept reaccumulating, so we put a chest drain in. Baby stabilised and everyone is happy for now.
