Dolphins GM Chris Grier said they got calls on QB Skylar Thompson, the rookie 7th-rd pick. Said people told them they'd be stupid to let him go. Mike McDaniel: "We're not in the business of being stupid."
Happy to announce I'll be the University of Miami writer for . It'll be my second time on the Canes beat (did it back in the day, from 1997-99). We'll see if there's a fall football season. But either way, it's great to be back!!
Miami Dolphins players Jerome Baker and Jaylen Waddle help deliver water to the reunification center for families of those in the collapsed building in Surfside, Fla.
I'm out of sports after more than 30 years. I'm back at

(for the 3rd time) but doing weather & wild Florida, which means storm/hurricane tracking, environment, animals, ocean and other related stuff. I'm excited to pursue a new challenge!

McDaniel said the team questioned Tua Monday after noticing inconsistencies on game tape. After that questioning they told Tua to see a professional and that's when concussion was diagnosed
Today was my last day at The Athletic. It was a great ride. I worked with some truly outstanding colleagues and I’m grateful for the opportunity. We’ll see what the future holds.
Tyreek on waving goodbye to Pats fans (part 1 of 2): “It felt tremendous. Those fans are some of the worst in the NFL and I’m gonna stand by that b/c they are nasty.
WR Kenny Stills, who probably spends more time with fans than any other player, greeted every kid & police officer from the North Miami Beach Police Athletic League at today’s OTA.
Truly touched by all the good vibes. Thank you. But send the majority of your good vibes to victims of social injustice & COVID-19. I'll be OK. Those who really know me know the deal _ beer tonight, beer tomorrow, beer Sunday, back on the grind at 7:30 am Monday

We already knew this, but this Dolphins team fights. Would be easy to throw ur hands in air and quit w/all these injuries but these guys continue to fight. Admirable
Members of the Miami Heat, including Tyler Herro and Chris Quinn, help bring supplies for the collapsed building first responders and the people at the reunification center. The building collapsed in Surfside, located roughly 12 miles of FTX Arena
Xavien Howard said his groin injury wasn’t a factor in his performance tonight. He said the extra recovery time should help and he expects to play next week
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel at Wednesday's practice in the team's indoor practice facility before Saturday's Buffalo game. The Dolphins turned the a/c down pretty far. This T-shirt is a play on a training camp T-shirt that reads, "I wish it were hotter"
TE Durham Smythe said no fights in today’s practice reflects the team’s professionalism. RG Robert Hunt had a slightly different and more humorous take on having no fights today
Jalen Ramsey (orange shoes, middle of field at 44-yd line) looks better each day. No detectable limp. I’m thinking he’s back closer to Halloween than Thanksgiving
Very proud of the peaceful protests earlier today in Miami and all over the nation. Late-night antics by a few knuckleheads in the 305 won’t overshadow the message.

Asked Waddle about nickname for the offense. Ran a few by him. He declined to participate. His locker room neighbor, Xavien Howard, said u get a nickname, then have a bad game, everybody wants to clown you. Said it's only been 3 games. Chill. Waddle agreed
We've still hardly noticed LG Liam Eichenberg, and I mean that in a good way. I haven't viewed him as the weak link in the OL through 4 practices. He's been just another starter. Pads go on tomorrow
Mike McDaniel said Fins utilizing several outside specialists with Tua. Said Tua won't travel to Jets game. Said he feels good when he hears "What up, beast?" Tua calls him beast
Jevon Holland is unsure if Dolphins turned heads w/their performance yesterday and doesn't care. Said they know what they can do and that's all that matters
Two low-key things we've seen from Tua in camp (mentioned this in today's video) are throwing ball away & using his feet to elude rush. He's not sitting in the pocket or staying in pocket trying to make that last-second throw. That's improvement/awareness
Tua going thru his usual pregame routine. Meanwhile, Jevon Holland is testing his knees w/team personnel in right corner of field and Kendall Lamm is stretching in end zone
I'll keep saying this, and it's no disrespect to Tua or anyone else in any way, shape or form...the 3 players the Fins can least afford to lose are Tyreek, Terron and X. Those guys make their units better and this team much, much better. Especially Tyreek
Nah. No way. Tyreek is gutting it out thru a painful ankle injury. Dude is nowhere near himself. He limps, grimaces, pounds the ground in pain, sits out plays, and gets back out there and balls again. I have ZERO issue with Tyreek. Dude is a HOF baller!!
Yeah, the way Tua falls is a mystery to me. Why does his head slam backward so violently after fairly routine QB tackles? It's not as tho he's taking vicious blindside hits. That's one of the troubling aspects of this thing
Dolphins sign six to one-day contracts so they can retire as Dolphins: P Brandin Fields, DT Paul Soliai, LB AJ Duhe, DE Jeff Cross, OT Vernon Carey, WR Chris Chambers
