This Giants situation really reminds me of years the Jags were stuck with Blake Bortles. 2018 Bortles gets PAID after an exciting season/playoff run. 2023 Jones gets PAID after an exciting season/playoff run. The Jags and Bortles were terrible in 2018, and he was released 🤷🏽‍♂️
