We really have a long way to go. The average Nigerian graduate gets ticked off when they are asked probing questions about something they shared as information or opinion. 1, 2, 3 questions, they are already offended, start acting weird, sarcastic., and salty.

The only layer of anonymity is, not knowing who owns a bitcoin address, once that is known, - no more anonymity. There's a possibility of tracing, not an impossibility.

Saying that NIBSS belongs to the govt (without context) does not help people understand - the advantage the RTGS affords NIP It's beyond a licence. It just puts people off from engaging the facts and events of the past that shaped the payments landscape that we have today.

@A_Feranmi The truth is a lot of fintech startups/companies focus on giving out money (I don't know where this idea comes from). Also, the re-definition of active users is a potential war zone for product, engineering & mgt - and will be seen as being a 'go-live' blocker.

From the replies here, it's a commonly held belief [in this part of the world] that devs aren't supposed to test (at least positive scenarios) before handing over to QA. For me, it's a sign of inexperience, irresponsibility or plain negligence.
