: Seeing the Black Zero event from a different perspective is thrilling, and this was a spectacular introduction to Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne. He acts as Batman without the suit, sprinting toward danger while others are running away.

I learned my lesson on doubting
#Batman
casting choices back when Ben Affleck absolutely shattered all of my expectations. For some reason, as soon as I saw him standing next to Henry Cavill for the first time, I knew I was looking at Bruce Wayne.

An appreciation tweet for Ben Affleck as Batman: He has excelled in showing us the journey from a broken, bitter Bruce Wayne who can see no good in the world to one who unites the Justice League and resumes his role as Gotham’s guardian. I am so thankful for his performance.

It’s so sad that Charlie Cox didn’t get to experience any audience excitement at his cameo. My theater was filled with gasps and clapping. ☺️ I hope he realizes just how appreciated his portrayal of

is. I know I was happy to see him reprise his role.

I had never actually seen this intro from
@RealLyndaCarter
’s Wonder Woman before. 🤩 This is fantastic! I’m definitely going to have to do a violin cover of her theme soon.

I don’t think Channing Tatum would really fit the role of Gambit, but I’ve always loved how passionate he is about the character. And who knows? Maybe that enthusiasm would have translated to an unexpectedly wonderful performance. 🤷🏾♀️

I saw Rise of the Guardians for the first time a couple years ago, and it immediately became a favorite film of mine! ☺️ Alexandre Desplat’s score (especially “Calling the Guardians” and “Alone in the World”) is gorgeous. I listen to it often.
Kevin Conroy’s voice performance in Batman: The Animated Series sparked the love that I have for the character. I can’t quite believe he is gone, but I am forever grateful for the impact he had on my life.

I think characters like The Batman Who Laughs and films like Batman v Superman make it clear that Batman killing is most definitely not realistic or good. It goes against everything Bruce Wayne stands for and is typically presented in the comics as a last resort or a grave error.
As a teacher who has lost students to gun violence, I am really struggling to adequately put into words how I feel about this tweet. 🥺 All I can say is that it is disrespectful and unnecessarily divisive. We can do better.
Americans madder about a Batman that “killed” people, than real life school shooters murdering children will always be strange to me.
Take that twitter thread energy and try contacting your local politician instead.
Justice League Action is available for streaming on Amazon Prime! If you haven’t watched that fun series yet, you are missing out! ☺️ Kevin Conroy is Batman, Jason J. Lewis immediately became one of my favorite Superman voice actors, and Rachel Kimsey is amazing as Wonder Woman!
@Guslivesagain
The “Can’t Fight City Halloween” opening scene and the third act of The Batman were my favorite parts of the film. Matt Reeves and Peter Craig provided a wonderful contrast between how Robert Pattinson’s Batman views his role in Gotham at the beginning versus the end.

I thought the point of the DC hub on
#HBOMax
was to have an almost permanent home for streaming DC films and television series. 🤔 Why would that content ever need to be removed?

@Ray__Porter
I love how optimistic Ray Porter is about the SnyderVerse’s future. 🥰 I am grateful to be able to see his portrayal of Darkseid in the Snyder Cut and am hopeful that we will see his character face off against the Justice League in a sequel.

The titular fight in
#BatmanvSuperman
is the perfect culmination of the misunderstanding, frustration, and rage that is steadily built up within those two characters throughout the film. I’m so thankful that we have the Ultimate Edition to even more fully set up their conflict.
What are your top three DC/Marvel comics or storylines that everyone should read at least once? 😊 I’m excited to add even more amazing stories to my to-do list.

I am forever grateful that we were able to see more of Cyborg’s story in the Snyder Cut. ❤️ Victor Stone’s journey of rediscovering hope is certainly the emotional center of the film, and seeing his relationship with his mother Elinore and his father Silas meant so much to me.

Anson Mount as Black Bolt was my favorite part of the Inhumans television series. 🙂 You could really tell that he enjoyed portraying that character, and I think he did an amazing job.
@LetsOTT
What would a conversation between Hans Zimmer, Christopher Nolan, and Zack Snyder even sound like? 😮 Now all I want is an interview or master class where those three discuss how important it is for the visuals and score of a film to complement each other.

I can’t pick an all-time favorite BTAS episode. 😊 Here’s my top four!

When Jeffrey Wright’s Gordon said, “I only trust you”… 😭 His relationship with Robert Pattinson’s Batman reminded me so much of the connection seen in Batman: The Animated Series.

Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson would handle a Court of Owls story beautifully. For the immediate sequels to
#TheBatman
though, perhaps Reeves will continue drawing inspiration from The Long Halloween. I’d be interested to see his interpretation of Mad Hatter or Solomon Grundy.
I love the way that iconic image from The Dark Knight Returns was incorporated into the scene of Ben Affleck’s Batman evading Doomsday.

I would love for Ezra Miller’s first solo film to focus on further developing the character and introducing members of The Flash’s Rogues Gallery instead of rushing into a Flashpoint scenario. 😕 Right now, people are talking more about Batman than the title character.
