It’s weird to think that I’m just a few days away from the last races of my career. For the last 27 years I’ve poured my heart and soul into being the best motorcycle racer I can be, and, from Monday, my goals change

Sat next to a (alleged) Pakistani Army captain on the flight to Qatar. From wheels up he treated the cabin crew like shit. I’ve never heard anything like it. After firing up his vape (yes 😳) I took great pleasure in reporting him where the police picked him up on landing 😊

The FIM track inspection process during and after a full or partial resurfacing isn’t good enough; they need to be more involved. They are aware of my opinion but I’m yet to see change.

The surface was an issue in November. The point of the asphalt working loose was an obvious issue right from the get go. It was raised with officials in private convos & in safety commission with a warning that measures would need to be taken before GP come to town… 🤷🏼♂️

Penalisation for being millimetre perfect is beyond unjust.
It’s disappointing and concerning that those making these calls can’t distinguish the difference between a professional rider doing his job (brushing the limits, yet not stepping over) and a genuine infringement
