TCU Football sends me emails bc I bought Texas at TCU tix thru them once. They amaze me. For $45 you can attend a luncheon where Patterson talks about the upcoming game. Meanwhile my school made a 20yr $300M deal w/ ESPN to create our own channel & broadcast that same material.

@kyleumlang Texas doesn’t really have much of a brand outside of the state. They have a logo. A cool one, for sure, but that’s it. Go to NYC or L.A. or anywhere, ask people what Texas U.’s brand stands for. You’ll get a hundred different answers. No brand. Just a logo.
