A HUGE thank you to Girl Scout Troop 50367 for donating a new bench to @glencrestms ! The bench was made from 150+ pounds of plastics caps and lids Scouts collected over three years. The Scouts brought the plastic to a company that “upcycles” the lids and caps into benches.

Where were you at 4 a.m. Wednesday? Many of us were at home on one of the coldest days in IL history. Our buildings and grounds crew of Tim Tomazin, Charles Synowiec, and Ron Henson were out in the bitter, bitter cold at 4 am, repairing a water main break at @BriarGlenSchool .

It was a #UkuleleSpectacular at tonight's Board of Education meeting, thanks to performances by @BriarGlenSchool and @ArborViewSchool students! Students began learning ukuleles in September and performed for a big audience tonight!
