Avenue 7-0 Cavaliers (HT 6-0) A terrible first half. Behind after 20 seconds, lost the captain to a serious knee injury and sloppy goals from individual mistakes. Much improved in the second half, limiting them to only 1. Need to do that for both halves. Must take the positives.

Old Alts Res 3-1 Cavaliers (HT 1-1) ⚽️Bradley Ball Superb 25yd free kick brought us level in a good first half performance. 2 great chances to take the lead either side of HT, 1st with an open net but no shot. Conceded straight after the 2nd chance and didn't get going again.

Cavaliers 2-9 Leigh Genesis Goalscorers: Tom Rowlands & Ruben Toyne. Despite the score an improvement on last week. Patched defence caught out early, 2 goals clearly offside, but for the last 50 mins it was only 2-3. Another one half performance, but better. On to the next match.

Baguley Athletic 14-0 Cavaliers (HT 7-0) A match to forget. A patched up defence, an outfield player in goal and 3 players turning up 5 minutes before kick off and 2 more 20 minutes after didn't help. Behind after 1 minute and 5-0 after 15. Game over at that point.

Bedians 5-1 Cavaliers (HT 2-0) ⚽️Jack Cook Played very well for the first 40 minutes but two lapses in concentration led to 2 goals before HT. Got a goal to make it 4-1 before a late 5th for the home side. Definite improvements on the first two games with a depleted team today.

A bad result today. AFC Monton 16-0 Cavaliers. Played last 35 mins with 9 men due to injuries with 4 midfielders in defence. 13 players missing today also. We put this one down to experience and regroup next week. Only high spot was a pen save from our GK.

Manchester Central 16-0 Cavaliers (HT 6-0) Never showed up. Fair play to them, they wanted it more and ran through us. We are going backwards away from home, but much more competitive at home. Our remaining 3 matches are home fixtures, so fingers crossed we perform on Saturday.

BoltonUnited 14-1 Cavaliers ⚽️Edwin Carcamo A bad score vs the 100% leaders. Half the goals down to individual errors, but with an oufield player in goal we were always up against it. Despite that, we passed the ball around well in the 1st half, better than most games this season
