1. BE ON YOUR TOES
This is a crime of opportunity and thugs like working in the dark.
Park in a well lit area and avoid parking next to 'big' cars as they obscure sight.
a good example of tailgating.the driver has no view of whats infront. (driving blind).
if something was to happen Infront of that truck theres no room for escaping. Always keep good distance from the vehicle infront. it's called 'leaving yourself an out'
2. WALK WITH PURPOSE
Get in and out of your car with purpose.
Look around, get in, lock the doors and get moving. No fiddling.
When you get out, lock the doors and walk quickly to where you're going.
Avoid distractions.
