Cardinal Burke has been admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and is being assisted by a ventilator. Doctors are encouraged by his progress. H.E. faithfully prayed the Rosary for those suffering from the virus. On this Vigil of the Assumption, let us now pray the Rosary for him.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Cardinal Burke’s family is pleased to announce that His Eminence has come off the ventilator and will leave the ICU today to return to his hospital room.
Praised be Jesus Christ! I wish to inform you that I have recently tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Thanks be to God, I am resting comfortably and receiving excellent medical care. Please pray for me as I begin my recovery. Let us trust in Divine Providence. God bless you.
Please join me in prayer for those fighting the fire at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. Our Lady of Paris, pray for us! Saint Florian, pray for us! Saint Joan of Arc, pray for us!
I express my deepest gratitude to God, to the healthcare professionals who are caring for me, to the staff of the

Our Lord Jesus Christ who alone is our Savior is not at the root and center of synodality. The divine nature of the Church in its foundation and in its organic and enduring life is neglected and, in truth, forgotten.
Cardinal Burke remains in serious but stable condition. He is receiving excellent medical and sacramental care. Please pray for his recovery, particularly through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph, St. Juan Diego, and St. Rocco.
It is a source of deepest sadness and pressing pastoral concern that the private opinions regarding civil unions attributed to Pope Francis and reported with so much emphasis by the press do not correspond to the constant teaching of the Church.
Please pray with me for the Church in the USA and in every nation, that she will be faithful and clear in defending the sanctity of the Holy Eucharist and safeguarding the souls of Catholic politicians who would grievously violate the moral law.
Thanking you once again, with all my heart, for your faithful and generous prayers for the recovery of my health, I write to update you on the progress of my rehabilitation.
“Are these the last times? I don’t know that. Our Lord Himself said that it is for the Father to make these decisions. But it certainly seems that way, and so we need a strong intervention from Our Lord; and we’re begging Our Lady to intercede on our behalf.” Join the 9-month
Praised be Jesus Christ! My health has improved enough for me to return to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to offer my first public Mass since my hospitalization. It will be a Pontifical High Mass, December 11th, 11 a.m. CT.
With the sudden death of Cardinal George Pell, the Church has lost the earthly company of a wise, loving, joyful, and courageous shepherd. Let us pray for the eternal repose of Cardinal Pell’s immortal soul. May he rest in peace.
In the face of the evil which seeks to cover the world in darkness and to corrupt the souls of men, menacing the very Mystical Body of Christ, let us arm ourselves with the divine grace which has its eternal source in the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His

For myself and for others who have received so many powerful graces through participation in the Sacred Liturgy according to the Usus Antiquior, it is inconceivable that it could now be characterized as something detrimental to the unity of the Church.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is constantly directing us to the mystery of the Incarnation which gives us unfailing hope and sound direction for our lives. May She intercede for you on this, Her Feast Day. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Star of the New Evangelization, pray for us!
Let us bring from the altar, from the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the light that illuminates all things and leads all things back to God, according to His plan for our salvation.
With Saints Bartholomew and Jude Thaddeus, let us stand with the Light Who is Christ, the King of Heaven and Earth, the King of Peace, on behalf of His faithful in Armenia, our brothers and sisters subject to such terrible suffering.
In these final weeks of the Church Year, the Sacred Liturgy draws our attention to the Four Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell. Let us live in steadfast anticipation of Our Lord’s Second Coming, when He will bring to fullness His Kingdom.
Christ’s Mystical Body the Church is under ferocious attack which can only be overcome through prayer and fasting (Mk 9, 29). Please join today the crusade of 40 days of prayer and fasting for love of Christ and of His Church.

joy is the unchanging truth: God the Son has become man, has dwelt with us, and dwells with us for our eternal salvation. No matter what sorrows weigh upon us, we are joyful because God the Son became the Son of Mary.
Our responsibility is, as Our Lady of Fatima, teaches us so clearly, to transform the situation of the world and the Church by overcoming in our lives any sin and darkness, by daily turning to Christ and seeking to follow him with all our heart.
It was a great joy for me to walk today with so many of you who are faithful to the protection of life in the womb. May God bless you and may the angels and martyrs intercede for you.

Many Catholics and non-Catholics have asked me how it is possible for Catholics to receive Holy Communion while at the same time publicly and obstinately promoting programs, policies, and legislation in direct violation of the moral law.
Praise be Jesus Christ! My homily from the Votive Mass of Our Lady on Saturday in Advent -- a Pontifical High Mass -- celebrated at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, can be read in English and Spanish on my website.

With deepest sentiments of sorrow and of gratitude, I have received the news of the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. Please join me in praying for the eternal repose of his immortal soul. May he rest in peace.
“God, our Heavenly Father, Who has made firm for all ages your Son’s throne, have mercy on us. O Jesus, King and ruler of all nations, reign in our hearts.”
We find direction and true happiness in our lives by placing our hearts completely within the glorious pierced Heart of Jesus. When we rest our hearts in the Heart of Jesus, they are purified of the sins of pride and rebellion, and are fortified with His pure and selfless love.
I share with you my remarks on “Keeping Faith in a Time of Confusion” from the Call to Holiness conference today. May God bless you and may Our Lady of Guadalupe intercede for your intentions.
May Our Lord bless you abundantly in the coming year, may Our Blessed Mother intercede for you, and may your Guardian Angel watch over you and keep you from harm.
On March 12, the Secretariat of State of Pope Francis published a document regarding the offering of the Holy Mass in St. Peter's Basilica. Both the form and content of the document rightly sustain the deepest concerns of the faithful and of priests.

this year is so different for us due to the suffering associated with the coronavirus. I offer you this Message for the Holiest Week of the Year, which I hope will be an encouragement to you during this challenging time.
The answer to the question is clear: a Catholic who publicly and obstinately opposes the truth regarding faith and morals may not present himself or herself to receive Holy Communion and neither may the minister of Holy Communion give him or her the Sacrament.
Praised be Jesus Christ! My homily on the Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrated at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, can be read in English and Spanish on my website.
I hope that the following points of the Church’s teaching will be helpful to those who are rightly confused and indeed frequently scandalized by the all too common public betrayal of the Church’s teaching on faith and morals.
At a time when we most need to be close to one another in Christian love, worldly forces would isolate us and have us believe that we are alone... But we are not alone. Our Lady speaks to us, "Am I not here, I who have the honor to be your mother?"
Our lives have to change more and more into Christ. Our hearts must be more and more purified, animating us for every good work. Only Christ can accomplish the miracle of the transformation of our lives, and He is here to do it.

Our Blessed Mother's title, Mirror of Justice, reminds us that we see in Mary the image of how to live in obedience to God’s law and so grow in the likeness of Christ, that is, grow in the pure and selfless love of God and of our neighbor.
Dwelling with us, God the Son Incarnate enables us, as He enabled Saint Stephen the First Martyr for the faith, to be His steadfast and courageous “fellow workers in the truth” (3 Jn 8), His “good soldier[s]” (2 Tm 2, 3).
“Today, in society and in the Church, we are witnesses to so much infidelity, to the practical abandonment of salvation in Christ and the pursuit of happiness in the things of the world, the pursuit of happiness where it can never be found. Such infidelity breeds division, error,
One in heart with the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mother of God, let us lift up our hearts to the glorious-pierced Heart of Jesus, opened for us in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Gaudete! Today we are admonished by St. James, “Be patient, until the coming of the Lord...Make your hearts firm, because the coming of the Lord is at hand.” Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, may our hearts be readied for the coming of the Christ child at Christmas
Through the Lenten observance symbolized by the imposition of blessed ashes, Our Lord gives us grace to rend our hearts, not our garments (Joel 2, 13). Thus our outward signs of penance manifest the conversion to inner purity of heart.

St. Bonaventure combined a profound understanding of the faith with an even more profound love for the source of faith: God. His remarkable teaching led Him to an always greater desire to please God in all things, to love God and neighbor without reservation or limit.
Lent brings grace for living in communion with God through prayer and our neighbor through almsgiving, and in harmony with Creation through fasting. Blessed ashes signify both repentance for sins and confidence in God’s mercy. “Have mercy, O God, for my soul takes refuge in You.”
Our sincere participation in the Holy Mass, today, is both the recognition of our sinfulness, of our need of salvation, and the expression of confidence in God’s all-merciful response to our contrition, of confidence in the help of divine grace and in eternal life.
Yesterday we officially began the third month of our Nine-Month Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe. You can join anytime; it is never too late. Each month, registrants receive a reflection like the one below. May Our Lady intercede for all your needs.
The glorious-pierced Heart of Jesus stands ready now to receive our hearts, purifying and strengthening them with His own Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. With the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us give our hearts to Him, now and always.

The Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, leads us, with all our needs and with the needs of the world, to her Divine Son with the maternal counsel, which she gave to the wine stewards at the Wedding Feast at Cana: “Do whatever He tells you” (Jn 2,5).

Lenten prayer, fasting and almsgiving open our hearts more perfectly to God and our neighbor. Let us recall the words of Saint Paul, urging the early Christians at Corinth and urging us “not to receive the grace of God in vain” (2 Cor 6, 1).

Our Lord has loved us “to the end,” dying on the Cross to save us from sin for eternal life. He never ceases to love us so, above all through His Eucharistic Sacrifice. “By His wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2).

Given to us as our Mother by her Divine Son, the ever-Virgin Mary draws us with maternal love to her Immaculate Heart, under which God the Son took a human heart. She leads us to place our hearts, with her Immaculate Heart, totally into His Sacred Heart.
