Diet:: my diet is mainly protein and i only eat the same 4-7 things on a day to day basis - tuna - chicken breast - turkey slices/bacon - fruits and veggies - greek yogurt rinse and repeat for 9 months lol i avoid fats like the plague and eat carbs only b4 workouts

what i do:: x6 strength training a week + at least 10k steps, and eating primarily protein, avoiding fats and carbs when possible. i have only fasted once within this time period, i made sure to hit 130g protein all winter

i don’t understand the obsession with protein bars. they’re filled with alcohol sugars and have 26g of carbs, usually. whole foods for me is the way to go,, 1 can of tuna = 90 cals/ 20g protein and it’s so much more satiating! maybe it’s the ortho talking

yes, this made my weight plateau but i built a ton of muscle over the winter (i was also semi recovered). building muscle also boosted my BMR, meaning i can eat more cals on top of being active daily and 5’10

i noticed after three months of working out i was FINALLY building muscle :) so it does take time to start noticing changes. the scale did not budge until recently, staying around 130s from october-april so don’t be discouraged (i’m 124 now)
