@TaylorLorenz My dentist has a 48 hour cancellation policy. You break it, you have to pay a $45 fee. THEY cancelled on me 4 times in a row the NIGHT before each time. I brought up the hypocrisy about their own policy and ultimately they paid me $180 b/c they realized how how bad they looked😵‍💫

This is bad & I've had worse. Every time I ask for feedback, I'm ghosted. It's honestly the least hiring managers can do, especially if you've made it so far into the process. Rejections shouldn't be a check on a to-do list when people's careers & livelihoods are on the line.

Hearing about all these layoffs and furloughs makes me extra extremely grateful to have a job in journalism, something I didn't expect to happen so soon after graduation (one year). I love what I do and I hope I can do it forever🤍
