Massaro says that Stockstill might have been competing against his own standards and that seven and eight wins aren't good enough. The program needs to be at 10-12 wins. Massaro says he talked with Stockstill earlier in the season and said that it "shouldn't be this hard."

Call me soft if you want but I hated having to watch Joseph Ossai cry on the bench after the game because they wouldn’t get the camera off him. Yes, he committed the penalty that ultimately sealed the game but you have to feel for the guy especially after how well he played.
