A discrete tactics game about climbing a tower, with a couple of roguelike mechanics. Beat each room to continue your path to the top. No one knows what the top of the tower looks like, or if ever exists. (Very meta, but still true, i have no idea) #gamedev #pixelart #pico8

I've been making a mini Mina the Hollower (for research!) in #pico8 , I just couldn't wait to play it and had to make my own. Learnings so far: - Working with 2 colors + black is so good, - Verticality of jump+burrow makes SO MUCH SENSE that it's kinda scary

The bug moves around but barely, was able to learn how to do a terrain shader like in A Short Hike following their tips and concepts, but its doing something I DID A 3D SHADER YO (used shader graph which is so cool yo)
