i went through almost the same thing, stay strong
you'll be surprised just how much u can accomplish now that you have time to focus on personal things
dont look for new people, literally just focus on purely yourself and making the best move in every step of life. it'll
if you think you’re a coding wizard but feel as though you’re not using your potential…
use zig. seriously. it unlocks the skill ceiling. now you can make any software imaginable - quickly. go change the world

I don't mean this in a rude way (I understand English isn't your first language) - in this case shit means "anything" - this is a negative/mocking phrase
ok i think this is the final pivot.
i am gonna go through fast ai. i am finally gonna try and learn AI
when i get through this i will try and apply these learnings in zig

@PicturesFoIder
This doesn't actually explain what's being shown here. A CPU does things one at a time (first half of video showing it do that), whereas a GPU does many individual pixels all at once
i’m sorry but zig is more productive to use than any high performance language out there
you can do stuff at comptime the same way as runtime, unlocks grug brain wizardry

the plane is used to test the propeller engine at different altitudes and speeds. hence the plane is called the test bed
Please for the love of god and all that is holy please stop calling starship flights "IFT". It hasn't been officially used since flight 1. They're just called "flight" now. It's "flight 4" not "IFT 4". This is a message to all of spitter.
its actually so simple
want async in zig? use functional actors. just make data immutable, spawning cheap, execution done in bulk (self: []*Self) and you've got a SIMD capable BEAM
astro is the only acceptable js framework because it gives you the power to do absolutely anything you want while being 0 runtime bloat.
it’s zig comptime for frontend
@onarchbtw
not too bad in the uk just my personal situation really
- i refuse to do leetcode
- cv has a gap for when i went to uni that i dropped out of due to personal circumstances
- uni meant i had zero time to work on projects so my projects are old
- i believe i can bootstrap a

the dude literally modified nvidia drivers to enable 4090s to P2P read+write memory without NVLink. over PCIe. guy doesn't need a redemption arc, he sped up hobbyist AI training significantly.
It’s official…programming as a career is over. GPT o1-preview creating a fullstack react native app…I didn’t make a company fast enough, and now I’m obsolete…fullstack for 16 years
i use bun cause i get to write high performance (almost zero library) backends
super simple requests, websockets, sqlite all implemented in bun to have as little js overhead as possible
- 10 to 16: during that time i was learning coding by modding and reverse engineering low level stuff
- 16 to 18: was geeking out on orbital mechanics and spacex so played a game entirely through coding my own rocket guidance
- 18 to now: dont play games but make games
