@hourly_shitpost Do not do these things to kids, their brain is still on development. It's great that the last kid didn't get scared but there is a ton that will get very scared. The structure of the brain that process fear could become overactive. This brings so many issues in life.

My dad, who dropped out of school in the 9th grade, told me that he is doing his GED, and he starts classes tomorrow. I told him how proud I was, and he said, "You inspired me." I'm a mom of three and first-generation college student. #firstgen #education

After a series of presentations around campus, today was the last presentation of the curricular analytics project. This also officially ends my employment with UTSA. Bitter sweet moment, I loved my job but it's time to concentrate in commencement 🎓 Birds up 🤙

Universities should be more intentional about nontraditional students, such as those that are 25 years old or older, are parents, or work full time. They are not being targeted the same way younger students are making it harder to enroll and stay in school.

@Pm1oPm1o @ksatnews Although schools are not daycares, without blaming anyone, we have to accept that tons of kids will be alone on Fridays. It is important to assess the collateral damage, job loss, endangered kids, etc. Of course teachers are sooo important but so does the children.
