The drive down from the north side of Indy sucks after all these years but once your inside Assembly Hall and see
@TheMopLady
on the screen it still gives you goosebumps.
No place on earth like it!!!

I usually don't tweet about 8th grade basketball players but I was extremely proud of Tillman Etchison tonight. His Hamilton Heights team was down 17 points in 4th quarter and he scored 18 of his 26 for the 63-61 comeback victory.

This is the original scoreboard from their 9 OT game vs Liberty Center which is a state record

Thanks to everyone who has reached out. Your thoughts and prayers are working.
For those who are unaware, I suffered a stroke on Monday while working. I'm currently in ICU but waiting to be moved to a room today.
Tonight's update: GOD IS GOOD.
It looks like I will be leaving rehab tomorrow and going home. I will continue doing outpatient therapy for the near future, so continue the Prayers, they are working. Thanks to everyone. God Bless all of You.
Archie killed this program 2 years in, and Woody is trying to dig out of the hole but a long way to go. Need some Dawgs with fight. Give me nine dudes 6-2 to 6-7 who want to go to battle.

"Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened"
The last 2 years of watching
@NHSGirlsBBall
have put many smiles on a lot of faces. Thank You for making me smile. 😀😀😀
One guy plays 34 minutes goes 1-7
Another plays 9 minutes, goes 3-4 and hits a 14 footer against the zone and gets subbed for. Another guy plays 0 minutes and is known as a shooter.

WHY?
1000 points, but more importantly, she has put thousands of smiles on young kids' faces. She knows how important it is to be a role model in the community.
Congratulations to Reagan Wilson on becoming Noblesville's 10th girls basketball player in the 1,000 point club! She's the 20th Miller between the boys and girls programs!

Ok, I wanted to give you all an update. I'm leaving the hospital today for a rehabilitation facility in my favorite city, Carmel. The people at Methodist have been wonderful, but there's not anything left for them to do that could help me.
It is with very heavy hearts that we send our condolences to
@GusEtchison
and his family as we all mourn the loss of Tony Etchison, a great father, husband, son, coach, & community leader. Please keep Gus and his family in your thoughts and prayers!
I plan on being in the hospital for awhile and then to an acute rehab facility and back on my feet ASAP. In the meantime keep Praying and if you don't believe in the power of prayer find a good Bible base church to attend. God Bless
Here’s what Tyrese Haliburton said when I asked him about
@NHSGirlsBBall
star
@AshlynnShade
:
“I was like, ‘Yo, No. 12 on the white team, she looks real.’ I didn’t even know that she was going to UConn.”
Haliburton, a Wisconsin state champ, watched the 4A final on TV.

@NSUCoachJones
I watched AAU basketball for 30 years and recently switched to watching Jr and high school golf. Free admission and parents that walk the course and root for all the kids involved. A concept of respect and values by the competitors that doesn't exist in society anymore.
.
@NHSGirlsBBall
play like they practice, and Saturday night, that intensity was the overarching theme amidst a dominating 69-48 victory at No. 6 Homestead.

I prefer the old format, single class basketball 😇
On a more serious note, the regional championships should be played at 6 pm and 830 at each venue. The idea of playing a championship game at 1 or 4 in the afternoon did not have a real championship feel to it.
These PGA pros walk 18 holes hit magnificent shots and always look so good no sweat and always clean. I play 18, ride in a cart drink beer and come out looking like I went 10 rounds against Mike Tyson.
Final from Noblesville
Noblesville 52
Tindley 33
Coach John Peckinpaugh picks up his 1rst win. Hes now 810 behind JR Holmes for all time wins in state of indiana.
What a very emotional halftime.
It's to bad that Archie had the kids in the locker room. They should have been out here to understand what Indiana Basketball really means to old farts like me
MANY great games tonight!
I am going Boonville
Dale and Clayton - Muncie Central
Chuck-Kouts
Larry-Loogootee

Covers today, March 6 are the last of the North & South Covers, 1997-98. The North Cover features college players. The South honors a last non-class winners.
I'm proud to announce that the
@bigten
has asked me to referee all Noblesville games in the upcoming state tournament. And you think Larry Scirotto is a homer.
Following Noblesville basketball this season was so much fun. These seniors put so much into continuing the winning culture that has been a tradition for many, many years.
Here at Indiana Wesleyan as they take on Taylor. IWU is coached by Greg Tonagel, the most successful coach in Indiana the last 15 years. 790 win % and 3 National Championships
Somewhere in Noblesville tonight there probably is a 4th 5th or 6th grade girl sitting at home crying and her parents are having to explain to her why she can't watch her favorite basketball player play this season in The Mill
Wow ... what an impressive two years for the front covers of HBM. The 89-90 issues featured Bailey and Montross. The covers spotlighted for today (2/28) are 1990-91 - Glenn Robinson (North) & Alan Henderson (South).
Gary Roosevelt defeated Brebeuf in the 1991 state championship.
To all of the young kids playing or watching a
@IHSAA1
basketball regional tournament today, be safe and enjoy the moment. These are memories you will always cherish and talk about 20, 30 or 40 years from now.
This is BIG BOY BASKETBALL and our kids are wearing diapers .
We as a program have a long way to go, and you don't give million dollar raises to poor talent evaluators who can't coach X and O's

Normally don't say to many good things about a Purdue guy but Robbie Hummel is really good for

and has some great stories when he's on
