I’m a boomer. You have a valid point. I paid for my first semester of college in cash. $400. A goodly sum in 1979 - but doable in the context of a summer job. I did end up borrowing to complete school. Even with my financial help, my kids debt load was far higher.
@TraceyR64968698
I’m so so so very sorry. You have such a long sad journey ahead of you. My son died 10 years ago. While this is your journey, you don’t have to do it alone. Talking helps. Feeling sad is ok. You owe no one anything. Feel what you need to. Cry. You will never forget him. Take care
@smondello
@AngrierWHStaff
He doesn’t have the capacity to feel guilt. Remember, everything is about him. It’s either a real medical emergency or he is setting up and excuse to resign. But since he thinks he always wins, I’m guessing the former.
@KayeSteinsapir
I have met some very kind people since my son died. One guy said to me “tell me about your son”. I will never forget it. Another was a dad of whose son was killed at columbine. We talked for an hour. Others also of course - I remember them all and have tried to pay it forward.
@dalee1203
I am so so so sorry. It is so very difficult to have a child die. You have a hard road ahead. Please take time to grieve, cry all you need to. Get some professional help if you can. It’s been nine years for me. I still have bad days. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Take care.
So today is the ninth anniversary of my sons death. As much as I try to not have this day, this date, impact me it still does. I’d rather not even acknowledge it - seems to be beyond me. It seems both long ago and just yesterday at the same time. Life can be hard. Take care all.
@adammocklerr
A guy in a bar one night asked me if I was a lib (I had really long hair and beard at the time). I said yes. He asked if I went to college. I said yes. He said I had no doubt been indoctrinated. I told him college teaches you how to think - not what to think.
@jaxmadmom84
I’m so sorry for your loss(es). It’s awful. We had a full term stillborn girl years ago, and my 24 yo son died 9 years ago. I went to the cemetery yesterday (it was very cold) for a bit. This is a hard life sometimes. I hope you (and me for that matter) can find some peace.
@katiemade8
Oh no!! I am so so so sorry. I lost my 24 yo son 9 years ago. I feel so bad for you. You are probably in shock now… I’m afraid you have a very difficult time ahead of you. For now feel what you need to feel. Scream. Cry. Talk. Reach out to other parents that have lost children
@BlackKnight10k
I really believe he will be in prison. I’m not a conspiracy guy, but…. The mainstream Republican Party members and donors don’t really want Donnie back. Why? He is bad for business. He is bad for the Republican Party. That means people with real power are not going to help him.
@CraigSh8
@MatthewJshow
@realDonaldTrump
Majority means most people. As in over half. Trump does not have even half the country supporting him. I know math is hard for the MAGAts - but I’m sure if you sit and study the situation for a few hours you will get it.
@clairethrossell
I’m so so so sorry. I wasn’t there when my son died. It was nine years ago. A car he was working on fell on him. I keep thinking how scared and panicked he must have been 😢. Hopefully he was knocked out right away but I don’t know that. Anyhow, I feel for you. Take care.
@2StefanMoore
So true. Lost my son 20 years ago at age 24. I will never “get over” it and I don’t really want to. At this point the pain and sense of loss feels like proof of love. I miss him terribly.
@Michael_Z1012
The shocking level of hypocrisy, the child sexual abuse, the desire to subvert democracy to become a theocracy and historically the wholesale murder and/or torture of millions of people in the name of “god”. If someone tells me they are a Christian I think less of them.
@Nelba_MG
The death of my son eliminated whatever bit of belief I had left. Too many really bad people out there - while my kind son died. What god? Where? I sure don’t see it. I feel so bad for you - I hope you find some measure of peace. Whatever the source.
@activistHistori
I am so so so sorry for your loss. My son died seven years ago. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of him. I cry almost every day. What a waste. Be kind to yourself. You have been thrust in an epic journey. I am thinking of you. It’s going to be very difficult.
@kaloyanmm
@MikeSington
I agree completely. DeSantis is hoping this will energize his presidential campaign. I strongly suspect it will not, and may just finish it.
@Imposter_Edits
To me it comes down to: is health care a human right or is it reserved for the wealthy? Once you answer that / I guess you know who to vote for.
@Franklin_Graham
Pretty sure the people in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, England, Germany and a host of others would be surprised (and insulted) to know you think they are almost communist countries. Stop lying.
@parker_shonts
@Travis_in_Flint
A ballot application is just as it sounds / correct? You have to apply to get a mail in ballot. Once you get the ballot you can send in your vote. Correct? Your ballot is then subject to checking against voter rolls - correct? Duplicate names should not be counted.

By that logic the military should make money. In fact all government agencies should make money. The library of congress should make money.

It’s published on USDOTs website. Every state DOT publishes extensive information on projects, costs, funding sources etc. Also published is information on upcoming (programmed) projects. Most (but certainly not all) federal DOT money goes through a state or local govt.

Not true. Read about what James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine had to say about religion. They were completely opposed to religion in government - and were not religious men. Easy to look up man.
@Fromgrief2grind
People who have lost someone WANT to hear their name spoken. They WANT to hear a story about them. Others assume it would be an upsetting reminder. It’s not. We know they died. We haven’t forgotten for a second. We want to know you haven’t forgotten them too.
@FoxNews
Don’t watch Fox News. Be kind to your neighbors - even those who don’t look like you. Help the poor. Feed the hungry. Treat immigrants with compassion.

I went to get my prescription eye drops yesterday. No insurance. They have been $13 for years at Walgreens. Rung up at $176. No joke. Walgreens helped me find an online coupon brought it down to $50. Found out later Walmart is $10. WTH!!!
@SpeakerJohnson
@patticosh
Disagree. I work in infrastructure- the bill has had a huge impact. Local match for projects is always an important part of the funding - don’t you want locals to have “skin in the game”? The local match component has not changed much over many administrations - D and R.
@CynthTellsIt
I’m so sorry. That is a tough thing to carry for all these years. My son died 9 years ago. I sometimes still can’t believe it. Then I do. Anyhow take care.
@kim_amerie
It’s so so hard. I hope that someday you find a small measure of peace - I hope the same for myself. I mostly don’t want to feel less pain - seems disloyal to me. At this point the pain of loss has become proof of love. At any rate take care. People care.
@thew_robert
@Zincdog
I went to a barber that showed me shockingly racist “jokes”. Then told me he goes to civil war re-enactments. As a “rebel”. This is small town South Dakota. I never went back. I also told everyone I knew about it.
@mmpadellan
I live in South Dakota near Sturgis. I usually go to at least a couple events and wander around people watching. Not this year. The rally is fun - but not fun enough to risk getting sick or dead.
@BWay124
@krassenstein
You are way off. I work in railroad infrastructure- most of that money will make to actual projects. Are these projects slower to get going than privately funded? Yes. Are they more expensive? Based on my experience no - it’s close to a wash cost wise - because competitive bids

That’s because we are not cult members. I voted for Joe. He is a employee. That’s it. I think he is doing a decent enough job. I don’t buy his merch. I don’t get a woody thinking about him. I don’t need a painting of him where he looks like Jesus. I don’t have Biden flags.
@RealSteveCox
@WiserMadam
These guys think they are tough. All dressed up in soldier costumes. I think they are gutless wimps. The lady in the photo is the brave one.
@fesshole
I don’t think its sounds stupid at all. I have my sons four old cars. Along with all his possessions. All of them. They only time I feel even a little at peace is when I’m working on one of the cars - like we used to do together. So I get it. Take care.
@HCullen98
@Tony201713
If a video surfaced with Donald making sweet love to a goat he is calling Ivanka it wouldn’t be enough for the Trumpies to turn away from him. They would claim it is fake news, planted by the FBI and what abou Hillarys emails.
@DavinaRivers
To these excellent suggestions let me add:
Tell a story about their person. We love hearing the stories - plus it’s proof you haven’t forgotten them. You can start by saying “I remember when we…”
Say that you really miss their person.
Give them a hug.
@WeAreBlueCrew
Scared. I have the same hair a scraggly beard. I have to rethink things. Maybe go big on the beard. Which is what I want to do anyhow - now I have an excuse. I don’t want to look like Lying Ted.
@charliekirk11
@JoyBell75174267
I’d much rather he live to experience a humiliating loss to Joe Biden, followed by years of civil and criminal legal problems and a lengthy stay in prison. But that’s just me.
@refugeingrief
How it makes time strange. Like my sons death was both a lifetime ago and just yesterday all at the same time. Also that you don’t really get over grief, you just sort of learn to live with it.
@ImJackFrank
@Curious_Bastard
Either god is all powerful or not. Either god cares or not. If god cannot prevent child rape by men of the ministry (gods voice on earth) then god either doesn’t care or is unable to help. Doesn’t sound like a god worth my time to believe in. God is, in fact and feed, not good.
@bullfish777
I wanted to also say it is STILL her birthday. It’s important to acknowledge just to reinforce the idea that she was here, she was important, people love her. I feel for you - and all of us that have lost children.
@MichaelLRoss7
@Coffee_Is_love
I am so so sorry. I’m glad you were able to do that. I had an excellent relationship with my son - he died 8 years ago at 24 - but I still think about how I couldn’t afford to do some things he wanted to do. Makes me sad. I miss him terribly. Hug your kids today.
@ryanjenkins11
@andmichaelgreen
I don’t think that’s exactly right either. This is what I found: The USPS often is mischaracterized as a quasi governmental or private entity. It is neither. The USPS is a government agency that was created by Congress to achieve various public purposes.
@RepDustyJohnson
@HouseGOP
Dusty - as I am closing in on retirement (for real this time) I am concerned about the future of social security. Many of your fellow party members seem to be quite interested in either defunding or eliminating this program. What is your position?
