Strange things at the emergency clinic recently. One patient handed us £20 instead of £25.80 for the emergency fee expecting a coronation discount! Another told the receptionist he wouldn’t attend and pay £25.80 and that he would go to A&E instead! 1. A&E really can’t help

In the past 3 days, I worked 21 hrs of NHS Dental Emergencies, treated 67 patients out of 71 (4 did not attend) and got abused by 2 of them. I got a lot of people out of pain and except for the 2 abusers everyone else was very happy. Abuse appears to be routine in the NHS now.

Hi Allison This immigrant provides a good number of the NHS Dental appointments which still exist. The decision to starve the NHS of resources is a political one by the government. There is no real limit to the resources which can be used if the government makes the decision

How about the Archbishop of Canterbury considers the impact of mass immigration on ordinary Britons who can’t get a GP appointment, see a dentist, rent a flat, get a cancer diagnosis? Who wait two years in pain for an operation. They don’t matter.

People struggling to find an NHS Dentist and I have patient after patient not attending today. Just to inform the public that no-shows mean no pay. We are not subsidised by the NHS when patients fail to attend for appointments. That’s down as a loss!

I spent 40+ years saying “I am a writer” or “I like to write” and looking embarrassed when I couldn’t signpost any published work. Then the pandemic turned out to be a call to action and 50+ published poems later I can actually call myself a writer/poet and smile with confidence
