Thank you to the stranger who was sitting next to me and my son in the Japanese restaurant in Dublin. When I went to pay for our meal the stranger had bought our meal for us as a surprise and left! ❤️ The waitress said he was a ‘secret Santa’

Wow this album came out 3 years ago! That means I was up in the north recording in Analogue Catalogue with the wonderful Julie McLarnon 4 years ago, directly after touring with @ryleywalker .. good times recording and good times touring (I never laughed so much than on that tour)

Maybe 50-100 small-large independent record labels could make a pact to not put their artists on Spotify and make a new fair app that paid the artist AND label fairly.. the people would definitely follow and use it in my opinion

Reading all the ☘️ metoo things at the moment about the music/comedy scenes. I don’t really know what 2 say..Galway was riddled with abusive behaviour when I was a teen& in my early 20s starting off playing gigs. Even the ‘experimental folk’ scene had it’s fair share of creeps

✨RIP David Crosby.. I listened to Deja Vu, particularly ‘Almost Cut My Hair’ repeatedly as a teen. In the rainy west of Ireland where all my peers were taking pills & raving, I was the outsider listening to CSNY wishing it was the 70s ☀️ thank you 🕊️

Tour is over + I’m back home. I started off this tour in not the best form but ended it totally happy and feeling lucky to be singing for ppl. Thx to all the promoters & ppl who came to the gigs..Thanks to @FlissKitson for booking them.. I have a 2nd single out in a few weeks 🔆

I was always blacklisted when I spoke out about people.. it’s amazing to see people all fearlessly sharing their stories now.. go easy on yourselves though, it’s exhausting work ❤️

This weeks story of #SarahEverard has been so upsetting for women. I have been reminded of my experiences of violence from men as have so many of my female friends. I've been sitting with a sadness and a dull panic all week as have my friends. I don't know what else to say 💔

Here’s one for the Irish history heads! Here’s a tomb in Ballinahaglish, Co.Mayo.. how old would you say this is? All I can find about it is some stories on @duchas_ie that say men slept in there to hide from the black+tans ..
