To those who call Labour ‘Red Tories’, Skim the 35 bills in the King’s Speech: workers’ rights, rail nationalisation, clean energy, Lords reform… Do you accept this is change - even if you still hope for more? Let’s forget ‘you’re all the same’. Thanks, A proud Labour voter

Ignore the polls. Ignore the headlines. Ignore the smears. Imagine waking up to five more years of Tory Government - perhaps propped up by Reform. Want change? Vote Labour. Really want change? Help Labour win. Everything else is a distraction.

🌳 @PlymouthLabour Council hoped to plant 3500 trees last season. News just in: we delivered over 4000. Big community effort. Sites inspired by residents. 300 volunteers helped to get them in the ground. Together we’re greening the city for nature recovery & future generations.

Not all heroes wear capes! Less than a day after being bitten by a dog, @PlymouthSally is back on the doors around Pennycomequick. Now with a Labour spatula at the ready.

Today I chatted about a topic close to my heart with a national hero - @Feargal_Sharkey . Feargal was campaigning for @PlymouthLabour because he backs our plan to end the Tory sewage scandal. What a perfect backdrop too - Plymouth Sound, the UK’s first National Marine Park.

I am a teacher. Tory austerity has meant your child now gets much less ‘per pupil funding’ than if they were born a decade earlier. Plymouth doesn’t even get its fair share of that. There is only one party offering the real change that education needs: #VoteLabourDecember12th

We had two @PlymouthLabour teams out in Eggbuckland today. The only Plymouth ward won by a Tory candidate in this year’s local elections - by just 17 votes. Several residents knew how close it had been and offered to help @FredThomasUK over the line.

Congrats to Sarah and Alistair on overturning huge 20,000 Tory majorities. Here in Plymouth, Mercer’s lead is 13,000 but in May @PlymouthLabour councillors were elected across every ward in his constituency. Plymouth deserves better than Mercer. Time for @FredThomasUK .

It’s time for change. Time to replace Mercer with hardworking, local @FredThomasUK . Time for a Labour Government committed to national renewal.
