My father was high school head coach in NJ for 40 years. Flew across the country to watch his kids. Attended AAU practices and try outs. Has attended college graduations and weddings. Keeps a notebook of what his past players are up to in life. The good ones do and they care.

I asked 200 middle school campers earlier this month if they wanted exposure. They all raised their hand. When I asked exposure to what no one knew what to say. Point being, focus on development and play good competition prior to high school and nothing else.
