After 8 years in VC, 6 in crypto, I've learned the technology doesn’t matter as much as what it enables. Auto catalyzed the building of suburbs. Mobile catalyzed location data, creating on demand co's. Web 3 has catalyzed accessible finance, but portable ID may be bigger.
