I have a theory that some writers are poets, and some writers are storytellers. There's overlap, but you're more natural at one and usually have to work on the other. To add to the theory, I believe the poets are the pantsers (mostly vibes), and storytellers are the plotters.

Ice Planet Barbarians is a gateway drug. Before I knew it, I was reading monster smut. Now I've descended into the depths of Predator fanfic (surprisingly good). By this point, if you need monster/ alien recs, I'm your girl. I've read them all- the good, the bad, and the weird.

So I got a vile comment today. I write dark fic, so I'm used to negative comments. But this person accused ME of being a terrible person for writing certain characters doing evil things. I should shake it off, but I'm struggling with it. (1/2)

From someone who grew up with regular hurricanes: - do not play in the flood water. I knew someone who was electrocuted doing that. -If you're house is flooding, do not go into an attic. You'll trap yourself -have life jackets ready -fill up pots/ bathtubs with clean water now
