6 headliners for Reading & Leeds and not one woman. there’s literally no excuse when you have 6 fucking headliners. and for all you “acts should be booked for talent and draw not gender” people i can name hundreds of woman more deserving of a slot than fucking catfish & the lads.
today is so hot it feels like warped tour so i’m going to emulate it by standing in a car park with 8 speakers playing 8 different bands drinking water from a can.
NEVER HAPPY, BACK TOGETHER.
Patty &
Ben &
Foley &
Ali.
Through over a decade's worth of ups and downs we had each other, and we're back to celebrate that with you. There's still some spark in us yet.
See you in 2025 🖤
man when we opened for waterparks 5 years ago now, i’d be swigging from a whiskey bottle onstage. no one cared. fans really care and get pressed about the wildest most pointless shit these days. like do any of you actually like music or do you just like complaining?
i think it’s more that a lot of modern pop punk should look to expand its influences. what made the 2010’s wave of pop punk so good was that bands were influenced by either hardcore or early 90’s emo. pop punk that is only influenced by pop punk is destined to be boring.
multi-millionaire ‘musician’ punches down on young artist with a strong vision who actually cares about and is a part of the alt scene rather than exploiting the scene just to make common denominator music with his other famous mates.
seeing a lot of love for as it is on the timeline. patty walters will forever be one-of-a-kind, the kindest, most caring and talented soul, and i’m proud of him for doing what is right for him in his pursuit of happiness. the scene never deserved patty.
today’s been 5 years since the first album i ever had a part in releasing.
happy birthday ‘never happy’.
we did a hell of a lot in 5 years. proud & missing everyone today. feeling nostalgic for how exciting & new that time in my life felt.
hello. hope you are all doing well in your homes. just wanted to say i miss you all & we’ll all get through this together. keep being sensible & vigilant & see you on the other side as i continue isolating & social (media) distancing.
okay hot take(?) coming. please read entire thread. I’ve been in the scene for 10 years. I’ve seen heroes, friends and peers turn out to be predators or abusers. I am not going to talk about anyone specific but here is why I always believe victims…
last week marked one year since i left as it is. been feeling kind of reflective and nostalgic and can’t help thinking we were a pretty sick fucking band that did some really cool shit. cheers for that. missing the lads loads but also working on new music as we speak.
10 years old. A whole DECADE.
Happy anniversary to the EP that changed everything. 4 songs that took us on tour, got us a manager and got us signed to Fearless. Life really was never the same after.
What’s your favourite track or memory from this time?
nah sorry can’t get into the new fall out boy album. they went too far with patrick actually enunciating words. if i know all the lyrics on first listen is it even fall out boy?
here’s the deal i have an ep all tracked (just vocals to go but producing your own vocals is hard), i have the project and ep name. it is coming together. no singles. no rollout. no team. no merch (yet). just me. just going to drop it as soon it’s ready.
also stay at home.
imagine ending your project and deciding that on your last tour you will subject people to a whole album your fans hated live, and only two songs from the two albums that people love, and made you famous. ON A FINAL TOUR. THAT IS A DELUSIONAL EGO.
Lots of bands have a bad song in their setlist so you can go for a piss break.
Big up
@PanicAtTheDisco
for adding a whole section where I can go for a big shit!!!
the electoral college needs to be abolished.
the fact that someone’s vote in wyoming is worth 3.6x more than someone’s vote in california isn’t democracy.
in 2015 one of as it is once lost a game of odds on warped tour to punch fronz in the face. we never did but now I wish the whole of warped tour knocked him out that year.
Pronouns in bio tells me that you probably don't have a job, don't spend any time outdoors, haven't touched grass in forever, desperately needing attention/validation, & craves the idea of being a minority although they're usually always white people that grew up in good families
for all of you unfamiliar with anonymous & why their ‘return’ is important i recommend watching this. shit is about to happen. this is a not just some protesting. this is a movement. change is needed & my heart is with everyone out there on the front line fighting for it.
can we talk about how MCR are playing NY on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 when that was the catalyst for gerard starting the band in the first place. also i should’ve been seeing them tonight but i am not.
happy 2 years to the great depression (kinda predicted the future with that record didn’t we?)
we did some fucking cool shit because of that record & making it was still one of the most creatively fulfilling things i’ve ever been a part of.
listen i don’t give a fuck if BMTH never play suicide season or count your blessings stuff again (because let’s face it’s not actually THAT good) but there is a hell… is severely under appreciated in their discography and it deserves more praise for its importance.
bands this is why you need to be easier on yourself if you fuck up on stage. see my memory of this show is the guitars accidentally had the reverb at 100% & that whole song sounded like we were underwater and I ran off stage mortified but that was the highlight of mikey’s summer
@benlangfordbiss
dude seeing yall preform the stigma for the first time at the first date of warped 2018 was like the highlight of my summer. i NEED warped back
In light of recent allegations made against Luke I am planning to do the November 2021 tour without them. I hope to find a replacement act in due course. I stand and support the victims and making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable at my shows is always my main priority.
i wasn’t going to have any acoustic tracks on my ep but i wrote a song yesterday that i recorded in one take with one mic on my bed and it’s going on just like that, flaws and all because i can’t recreate it any better than it is raw.
On this day in 2017,
@ASITISofficial
released their second studio album, Okay on
@FearlessRecords
The band underwent a number of lineup changes after this, changing from their pop punk sound. This is a cracking follow up to Never Happy, Ever After.
Reached number 58 in the UK
ironic how these ‘christian’ singers are being outed as rapists and/or racists. it’s almost like religion isn’t a moral compass. this is why i fell out of love with the scene. too many shitty people letting their ego think they can do whatever they want with no repercussions.
what started as a 4-track ep is now going to be an 8-track mini-lp.
releasing may 2020 along with vinyl pre-orders and will start doing some livestreams too once out.
more details soon.
fuck it going to be launching my new project on may 15th including LP/cd pre-order bundles & a video.
i wanted to wait until i got 100% confirmation will be hitting spotify and such but if it doesn’t i’ll just leak the song that day anyway.

i don’t have pr or marketing budget so aside from supporting me by buying a copy of my record when it’s out (if you can, i know it’s tough times all round) it would mean the world you if share it & tell people i’m back. the power of word of mouth isn’t dead yet. 🖤 love you all.
more bands & people from the scene need to speak out & hold bands & music journalists accountable when they fuck up but they won’t for fear of being blacklisted and not getting their record promoted. i’m content with the small fan base i have so nothing will stop me speaking out.
as if there are actually people that think trans rights takes away from their rights. just like people who think that black lives matters means their life matters less. undermined groups don’t want more rights, they just want the same rights. it’s not hard to understand.
an actual dictator. it all starts with forming public distrust in the media, and now calling black protesters ‘thugs’. we’ve seen this before. this could be the start of a civil war if this guy keeps making threats instead of looking at the system.
#blacklivesmatter
hey so because patty is like allergic to social media it would really mean the world if you would give this a share & help it reach its target audience of (ex-) 2015 scene kids.
we’ve got a new song together out on the 17th. presave -
I know our world is super divided but I thought the one thing we all agreed on was Ian Watkins = one of the worst people to ever live, I never thought I’d live to see people on the internet calling him “misunderstood”.
Fuck me, today is 9 years since the first ever
@ASITISofficial
show. We played in the lounge of a student house in Brighton supporting Gnarwolves and my mate ripped the sink off the wall. What a time to be alive it was.
“I do not believe in equality” is a fucking WILD thing to say in any context. “Protect their elegance” is even WILDER.
Another scene dude lost to the Tate-ism worm hole. Fuck this guy proving transphobia does more to perpetuate misogyny than it does ‘protect’ women.
hello i am bleak soul.
excited to announce my debut record ‘existential meditation’ is out next friday 22/5!
watch/stream single ‘why am i here?’:
12”/cd pre-order bundles:
first 100 orders come w/ a handwritten lyric sheet 🖤
super grateful for how many of you are still here & still care about what i do next.
you don’t have long to wait now. i’ve been busy putting together a video & some sick merch/vinyl/cd bundles.
i grew up in cornwall with a 95% white population and am actively anti-racist.
where you live or grew up may play a factor in why you are racist but it is no excuse for racism.
racism is a choice. racism is a fear. it is not freedom of speech. it is ignorance.
Three years today since I played my last chord with
@ASITISofficial
. Truthfully, I miss it everyday, but wouldn’t change a thing.
If you’re still here, thank you. 🖤
music media outlets are being eerily quiet about this. lydia - thank you for your bravery - you continue to make the scene safer & will inspire others to come forward. let’s weed out the hypocrites, abusers & power hungry men in bands from the scene. burn it down and start again.
we are at the point in (the scenes) history where a women will put out a song about men abusing minors and men will pull out research and statistics to justify noncing. fucking horrendous. keep fighting the good fight sq 🖤
On this day in 2015,
@ASITISofficial
released their debut album, Never Happy Ever After on
@FearlessRecords
First discovered
@PattyxWalters
and his early recordings on youtube and followed the band since, this is a great album and they put a cracking live show on!
my facebook memories reminded that 9 years ago I was in florida making never happy, ever after. I gave that record a spin the whole way through for the first time in a good few years and it turns out that record still bangs. that is all i have to say.
Genuinely heartbroken about Rock Sound the more I’ve been sitting with it. It’s not just a magazine or a website. It was a central force in raising awareness of exciting new UK bands. I hope someone swoops in to save it.
24 hours until i launch my solo project & fuck it up on day one by releasing a song that is definitely not a single & instead is just the opening track.
well this is gonna be one hell of a weekend. 10 years of Never Happy. 10 years since our first SD. 14 years since I first went to SD as a fan. Honoured to be back and a part of this truly stacked line up.
@SlamDunkMusic
can someone please explain to me why so many (trump supporting) americans are so afraid of “socialist” healthcare? i physically can’t understand why paying a little more tax to not have to pay for any medical bills is a “terrifying socialist agenda”.
i forget that ADTR have a bunch of MAGA supporters that will automatically just believe a dude’s nothing-y statement over a girl coming forward simply because they value a mans opinion/voice more.
how will i know if a mix is good if i can’t get to listen to it in my car?
having done three professionally recorded albums i’m trying not to be super hard on myself about a record i made in my bedroom with no producer.
tonight has completely blown me away.
i honestly can’t wait for you to hear the rest of the record.
you all mean the world to me. stay safe out there.
🖤
